this is great haha, the eyes following you on the menu screen was a great touch. The caged nicks is a hilarious joke and the gameplay was surprisingly solid for a jam game.
My only feedback was the aiming felt a little too sensitive, not sure if i could configure it or not.
Great work team!

Very funny game - Sounded like you had a great time making it especially with the Audio!! :yum:

Worth playing to the end, the helicopter sound had me in stitches when I first heard it

Gun fires OK the damage to kill the enemies was fair.

Problems for me would be the lack of enemy types and the camera angles juttered at times which felt un-natural and made it hard to move around.

It was also hard to extract the nicolas' from earlier in the level as they do their own thing - maybe have arnie carry them to the chopper?

Great game nevertheless, GET TO THE CHOOPA

So, it was fine and weird. Funny graphic and voices :D

It was hard at start to use camera and compare aim with real bullets direction. I think you can add something like respawn of enemies, because when I kill them all I just trying to harness the Nicks :D
Also, you can motivate player by decrease hero hp time by time.

And I don't know, it's a bug or not, but I have 6/5 Nicks in game.

When I move him in helicopter the score shows 6/5

The voice acting had me laughing so much, that i actually played through the whole game.
Great humor and realisation!

Ok, the voice acted sound effects made this extremely charming. It was impossible not to smile, after that the gameplay was kind of irrelevant to me, I was having too much fun making different noises happen.

I brought 1 guy to the choppa but then concluded that it was easier to just dispose of the rest. Perhaps if some reward (like more weapons or health) was periodically dispensed for saving Nicks I would've felt more concerned about their fate.

The purple laser is hard to see against the green & brown environment; a brighter color would've been better. Though maybe it needs to be purple for lore reasons.

The voice was very amusing.

Pretty fun, The cages didn't like to follow me very well so I never did finish due to not wanting to go back and save all of them. I did laugh the whole time with the audio though so great job there. We also did something similar with our own voiced effects.

Initially I was having trouble with warming up to the game — without audio, it's pretty bland and the aiming mechanics seem to be a bit off. That said, the audio and overall humor make this game pretty amazing. I especially liked the laser sounds and the surprise ending. Also, the ambient background was awesome and added a lot of atmosphere. Overall an extremely funny and surprisingly solid game.

Sound is just perfect, I must say. Especially the choppa voicing :)

Great game but it would be even better if nicolases was to actually follow you and not lose attention after walking 5-10 meters.

@sun-wukong Nicholas's behavior to lose interest in following Player is intentional! This way the more of them follow You, the worse it is. And yes - its frustrating, they are supposed to be bunch of dumbasses You as a player need to save!

Amazing sound effects. That's got to be the first impression!

I've never actually watched the infamous movie in question, so I don't know if this has anything to do with the story where "get to the chopper comes from" but… :p

Main mechanic of hostages running away so that you had to keep calling them was frustrating in a funny way, which I suppose was intentional, but it got perhaps a bit dull when I'd taken out all the enemies and just had to go back for the people in silence. Maybe they should've kept respawning instead! I also noticed the bullets didn't go exactly where the crosshairs were, but it wasn't a biggie.

Overall nice job!

Maximum points for humour. Hilarious Arnie impression too. The 3rd person controls felt a bit off, but i got used to them in the end. Great stuff.

I didn't get how to open _Cages_ at the very beginning. So I cleared the level first and then saved Niclasses.

Coconats are the best. Very fun game
