Vendo by jmswrnr
You're a vending machine robot and electrical energy is now the main currency!
Your battery is running out so you need to make some profit or you'll die D:
Your life is currency.
It was a solo jam and all graphics and code were created by myself during the jam.
Thanks for playing!
 PLAY GAME :hamburger:

How to Play:
- Buy stuff from the shop and hop inside your vending machine to sell it.
- Fully charge your battery and you level up!
- It's easier to sell hot stuff on cold days, and vice verse.
- If you see a product on the posters, it's likely easier to sell.
Controls:
- WASD/Arrows - Move
- E - Interact
Bug Fixes:
- Attempted to fix a bug when exiting vending machine where you get stuck and can't play the game anymore :c

I think I tried to hop back in the machine too fast. Excellent job!
Also gotta keep your risks in check, which is probably the best part of the game (besides your awesome art) :D
Sorry about the annoying bug...
I have attempted to fix the bug where you get stuck in the vending machine and can't play anymore, this is following LD rules as no extra content has been added. It's hard to track down the exact cause as I can't reproduce it inside the Unity Editor, it only sometimes happens in the WebGL build, but I believe it has something do with animation events.
@mrtroy Thanks, Glad you enjoyed playing it! :D
@raoz Thanks! The original idea was to travel to different locations on a map, and you could only buy certain products in certain locations, and they could be sold for more in other locations. I had to cut this down to 1 location and introduce the weather mechanic instead, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish during the jam. This is why there's still characters movement, I agree, this movement does make it a bit unusual and repetitive. If I was to work on the game futher I'd either make it a UI only clicker game, or stick with the original idea and have a much more interactive environment with different buildings and locations!
@zugai89 Thanks (: The balancing was a bit rushed without much testing, but each item has hidden traits, and can sell better depending on weather, weekday/weekend, and poster hype :D
@dan-colman Thanks :D That was the aim! to keep the gameplay simple, like the kind of game you can play on mobile to pass the time.
