SacrificeSimulator2018 by Stames

You always wanted to do some evil rituals and find that deterministic finite state machines would be a great way to implement a game control?
Then that's just the game for you. Sacrifice various ingredients in your rituals to maneuver yourself into the appropriate spell in the state machine of your ritual. Kill the nasty angels with fireballs, the common peace ducks with lightning and the dispensable humans with red shirts with poison balls Defend yourself against the particularly dangerous rolling rocks by summoning a shield.
Control:
- You move through your ritual (the state machine) by sacrificing the ingredients shown at the arrow.
- if you are in a state of the ritual you want to use press spacebar
- beware! if you try to use empty states, then you will get hurt (even if you try to summon a shield, even though there is already one)

I Think it is a bit too difficult xD But maby some of you are crazy good
If there's no audio in your game, you should remove it from the list of ratings.
there should be sound, in the download version it is there. I try to get it to work in the browser version too.
Great job overall.
I enjoyed it a lot btw :)
I loved the combination mechanic, it was unique using the finite state machines for the sacrifice recipes!
Also the devil design kind of reminded me of nigel thornberry :yum:

My highest score was 180 on Easy mode
One quick improvement for the game would be possibly some kind of score screen? It was pretty jarring going straight to the main menu when I died and not seeing my score.
For a bigger update, possibly having more indication of what elements attack each other - such as creating the opposite of what creature represents, war for the dove.. demon for the angel.. reaper for the child? It would make more sense than electricity, fireball and poison but maybe that's just me?
Thanks for making this game, and on behalf of [my team](https://discordapp.com/invite/whalesandgames) thank you for making this, it was fun!
I like this entry, though. :) Always nice to see alternative control schemes in a game jam game. The combo system made it really feel like casting spells, which was a nice touch. I like the level of polish in this game as well, extensive tutorial, difficulty settings (that actually change how you play the game) well done!
I think with a little polish and a little more variety (without overcomplicating things further) this could really be something neat!
