I survived 11 days. The numbers seemed to vary wildly, I'd have 80+ food one day and it'd be gone the next. I ended up using the remaining survivors to bury the dead, only seemed right.

I didn't survive too long, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I like survival games like this, but I wish there had been music and sound effects as well -- it felt a little empty without those. Overall nicely done though!

Not sure if the names are random, but Smargadine (chest face) is my favorite. I actually lol'd when I first noticed it. I would definitely play a spinoff game focused on her/him/it, maybe a whole series.

I didn't quite get to the point where I totally understood how the mechanics worked, but I had enough of a general idea to get that every turn involved sacrifice, and you can't do it all.

Nice job!

What does the x/10 mean on the actions? I enjoyed keeping my survivors alive until 22 days.

@drprettypatty The names are random but a game about Smaragadine The Chest Face sounds like an excellent idea!

Nice idea, but I think it would work better as a text game. Then you could focus on sounds instead of graphics and the atmosphere would be nicer and the core gameplay would remain.

Good entry nontheless! Cheers!

@stevie-bushman The x/10 was an idea I scraped when I ran out of time. The Idea was that tasks would become urgent if you didn't deal with them fast enough.
Good job on 22 days!

Had a tough time figuring out consumption rates and how much of each resource taking an action provided. Otherwise had fun watching my shelter slowly die.

Nice idea. It reminds me of fallout shelter. The zombies walking back and forth add to the anxiety of the game. It was a bit hard to figure out how many people needed to harvest supplies or what the risk factor was for their journey. I loved the random events. Overall, well done.

Not quite sure I understood the game. Nice graphics though.

Interesting idea of resource management, it was a bit hard to keep track of the resources running out so maybe some visual or audio to inform the player. Also I didn't understand if one zombie can gather more than 1 resource or if I had to delegate as many zombies as resources of that type I wanted (e.g electricity could have 5/10 available).

The gameplay felt like I did contribute to the survival of the villagers but on the other hand if I didn't do anything except press space I survived longer than when I tried to interact so the difficulty seemed to scale with the amount of actions you do. I guess it adds a level of depth to the gameplay but I didn't understand how and when the difficulty increased.

Also the random events were cool and made the game much more interesting. Overall great work!
