Give and Take by purnatus

A game about strategizing with money. In the far future, people sell their own organs, to gain money for surviving. You, the surgeon that resells those organs, have only one goal, to earn 10 000 dollars in a spawn of few days, without killing 10 people in total.
Every person offers you a part of their body. Thanks to their stats (price, illness, possibility of death), you can decide, if accepting their offer is favorable for your goal. But sometimes... day can be ruined by additional conditions (earthquake, no diseases....)
You control your decision by either pressing right arrow key for "yes", and left arrow key for "no".

All assets were created during gamejam. Game created by me, Richard Haraším and others amazing artists - Ela Giertlová and Daria Serebrianska. Sometimes the game can be incomprehensible marked as a virus - we are really sorry about that and you should try to avoid that alert if you want to play our game.
Of course, possible bugs are included!

First, some critique:
The interface is not quite clear to me. What is the counter above the money counter for? The font for organ and disease is maybe a bit too small. Is audio supposed to be a single sound effect or is that bug? (The effect is really good, though!). Oh, there are also minor typos in the intro.
Now to the good parts!
The presentation is quite strong. Graphics and shader effects are top notch. Great character design and personality! It reminds me a little bit of Papers Please because you too judge strangers by minimal data and possibly decide their fate. A great and gruelling interpretation of the theme. This left a really strong impression with me. The intro also really helps set the mood. Well done!
Graphic and "dialogues" reminds me some 90's adventure ("does church approve?" is 100% Lucasgames stuff, well done!) while the gameplay is more like a management game.
I also love the cyberpunkish sprawly scenario.
Drawbacks: gameplay is quite repetitive and slow. More odds and chances would add some fun to the game.
A little music or more SFX variety would also help not to be bored during the gameplay.

I was not really sure what the deaths were doing though, and what the government was up to.
Great job!
Overall good idea, fun but too little tension.
- get rid of the screenshake. it adds nothing to the game apart from sore eyes
- the help text in the menu is shown for less than a second, that's too short. but you wouldn't need it if you had some prominent way of explaining left/right ingame (like in Reigns for example, which was clearly an inspiration for this game
- make choices matter: having money doesn't count for anything if you have no way to spend it. don't mark decisions as wrong/right but add something in between, e.g. someone is unhappy with his surgery etc
I had some minor problems with earning money one day, but it got fixed the next. Also, the intro could have used a pass in a spellchecker, but I guess it was a bit rushed. :)
