Meta Turn-based strategy game where the most of your items are consumables, you will probably have to sacrifice some Items very important to continue your quest...

There is the jam version of our game, pretty buggy but still playable

(The first item that's supposed to give you randoms objects when you're empty is bugged, instead "use" the stick constantly to keep at least 1 item throwable)

Playable on browser and mouse-only.

I think I ran out of items on the third level

Things I liked:
- Third level Parallax looks really good.
- Sounds on thrid level are good too.
- Characters look great.
- Like the scrolling text and sound
- Like the group and travelling down a road mechanic. Feels like Wizard of the Oz

Problems:
- Health bars on hits don't display long enough to see them
- The "end turn" button remained after defeating the first big guy

Good stuff!

The end level creature animation was amazing! The ending really struct a chord.

Liked this a lot, I didn't win but I'm guessing I was close. I ran out of items after the city. Well done! In particular I thought the characters and mood were top knotch.

@royur There's more, don't worry ! Always keep a stick with you so that you can duplicate it and always have something to use ;)

What I liked most was the art style!

Maybe throwing the other characters would fit better on the theme! :laughing:

I finished your game! It's really cool! I think with some improves it'll be a good game to mobile stores!

Pros:
Graphics in Pixel art with a cool blur effect.
The history impact.
All the sounds, especially final boss music.
The fight mechanic (with the item management)

Wow! Graphics are great, dialogue is good, and that end boss transformation is awesome! I managed to defeat it after throwing away everything, including all of my hearts.

Noooo I don't want to kill the poor monsters. Hahah really cool submission with solid art and gameplay. Gotta say that chromatic aberation was a little much though. Nice entry!

Le jeu est sympa !

Le système de combat est intéressant, juste à bien l'équilibrer (évidemment là c'est normal qu'il ne soit pas équilibré).

Ma première remarque aurait été de vouloir voir les dégâts infligés par chaque items, mais après ça apporte une notion d'apprentissage, genre quel item sert à quoi, quel est le plus fort etc, je ne sais pas si c'est une volonté ou pas. Parce que si le but est d'avoir une sorte de notions d'essais des items et tout ça serait bien d'avoir la vie des ennemis affichées plus longtemps, ou alors tout le temps pour pouvoir mieux deviner les dégâts que font nos objets (c'est une juste suggestion si vous voulez exploiter votre concept dans ce sens).

Il y a pas beaucoup de production : des ennemis différents, des objets différents, des décors différents, des musiques différentes, avec mention spéciale pour l'animation de la dernière créature, vraiment cool !

Pas certain de l'aberration chromatique sur le bas de l'écran par contre ! peut-être pour le dernier monde mais au début ça fait bizarre, un peu hors sujet.

Mais sinon très cool :)

@thob Merci pour ton commentaire, c'est cool que tu es pris le temps de l'écrire pour nous filer des conceils ^^

Pour les items, je trouve le systeme d'aprentissage interessant, ça insite le joueur à être plus attentif à cequ'il utilise mais c'est vrai que la barre de vie des ennemies reste pas assez longtemps. Ont va essayer de regler ça.

Merci, j'ai travailler sur les graphismes avec @sensisaw6 et @myungwi et ont voulait vraiment que chaque niveau soit différents pour donner du sens au zones qu'on a fait. L'animation m'a pris du temps à faire et je suis contente de voir quelle plait ^^
