I dig the color palette and art style! I think sound effects would really add to the game as well. Nice work!

Pretty fun, good idea too! You can kind kit the elf guys multiple times with your bullets before they die. Not sure if intended but it makes the beginning levels quite easy. And sound effects and such would have added quite a bit too.

The idea is very simple, and it works so well !! Very nice for your first LD :) The gameplay is simple and attractive, and I think the idea is worth digging in (not enough time :( ). I love the animations too. The only "bad" point is what pinneh said, but that's minor I guess. Well done !

Great work! It's hard to finish a first Ludum Dare, let alone finish with a game as good as this. The main mechanic is super simple and really addictive, and I really like the way the game builds up on itself as you go along. Really nice work on this!

I like the atari-feel to the graphics! Even down to the situation: I don't know why I'm in a duel with a cowboy, at the north pole(?), but I'm down. The most satisfying wins were when the green guy just shot himself :)

Awesome bouncing bullets mechanics! This could be a fun game! I'm intrigue why are there cowboys dueling at what seems to be Santa's backyard?

Great entry for your first ludum dare. The art was pretty nice and consistent. As has been said, sound effects would have greatly enhanced the game, even if they were simple. It was also pretty easy to hide behind a tree and let the green guy use all of his bullets before you came out to play. For expansion, perhaps have a cost to an elf dying, or don't show the player how many bullets the other guy has. Create a Clint Eastwood feel, I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five'?

Was really fun to play with the bullets bouncing off the wall. Enemy Ai was fun to battle with. Audio would have been cool.

really cool game, it really gets harder and the AI feels pretty smart and like a real opponent(until it kills itself 3 times in a row :D) also the pixel art is sweet

Cool game, especially for your first LD. This could definitely be expanded into a really great game. What you could do to make it better is maybe add more levels, have a score for how many times you win without dying, or maybe have some sort of consequence for someone other than you or the green guy dying, and definitely add some sounds/music. Overall good job though!

Very cool! I liked the pixel art and the gameplay, even the AI was pretty smart! This would make a great two player game. I think if the trees spawn in random locations, it could potentially add another layer of challenge. Good work! Congrats on the first jam!

Great job. bouncing bullet is very fun.
it's funny that sometimes enemy killed himself because his bullet bouncing off the wall.
