Also, the atmosphere is great, which is greatly supported by changing and good music.
Just as @mortus said. I've tried to make a game like this before. At least the physics part of it. I agree with mortus, you've nailed it!
Also, @Traincraft, I managed to beat your score  @Zeknir, you're next !

I spent a ton of time playing and I loved every minute of it. Thanks! And good luck in the ranks. You're worthy of being ranked at least top 10 in some of the categories.

@liquidbrain @mortus Yeah, the physics was easily the hardest part for me to create. I've actually wasted like an hour or more to try to get Unity's effector to work, but in the end, I coded my own simulation.
Also while I can't promise anything, we are taking a look at on how to continue work on the game after LD. We still have tons of ideas!
However the game is very complicated and has a high learning curve. I struggled to mine and even move the ship. It took me a while to feel like I could even begin to understand what I was doing. So most of the time I just stared at the pretty graphics.
It's definitely something to improve post LD!
There are many aspects in this game, fighting, orbit, movement on galaxy map, ressource mangagement, events, a tutorial... and everything seems very impressive.
The graphics were fitting and the background music set a perfect mood.
If I want to critisize, I had my problems to figure out when I was able to scan a planet, sometimes it worked, sometimes I was in a close orbit and it was not allowed.
Also @liquidbrain, @Zeknir I've beeten your scores ;)

*(But maybe I had a slight advatage for having hundreds of hours into KSP :P)*
@larx Impressive score! :grin:
But i dont know, i have stable orbita and can't orbit to scan.
and after u goes to main menu, than click continue - it have wrong direction (not that one that you have before)
I like everything about this game - graphcs, theme usage, music and the mood and all the mechanics. Included tutorial is great.
As for the gameplay for me it was at first very hard to orbit a planet (without scanner turned on). But then I got better at it. I had so much fun playing it - really it is a great game. My only complaint would be that the game is very complex - it is not bad in any was, it just takes a second to understand all the systems.
@novotmike Orbiting a planet with the scanner turned off is very brave
Yeah, the game is really complex and it kinda throws everything at you at once. The tutorial is good, but not enough. This is something that we will definitely change post-jam.
It take a little time to correctly control the ship but machanisms are very interrestings and graphics are great!
As someone said above it is not a "plug and play" game, but to me it's not a bad thing.
You just need to figure out how to move your spaceship slowly and take your time to get the right way to approach a planet.
The mood is nice thanks to the great visuals and sounds.
You should definitely expand it. :)
