In this game you must make swords, which you sell to people. You get paid in gold, which you can use to buy more tools so you can make swords faster. You must also sacrifice the swords you have made to kill skeletons, who want to kill you and wreck your stuff. Everything made by myself, music made in bosca ceoil and sound effects in leshylabs sfmaker.

There is a guide button in the bottom right of the screen, click that if you're lost.

BUGS:

Right now windows,mac and linux versions have a bug where it will become impossible to win the game, but the web version doesn't have that bug anymore.

That's one hard sim game! Sometimes I had to kill the skeleton with a mold and the mold was sacrificed! :smile:
But really, I like the idea of crafting, selling or fighting. Game could get some polishing on controls about grabbing & moving stuff.

Interesting entry! It was sometimes hard to pick things up if they were all dropped in the same area but I really liked the game.

I like the concept. It can be a bit tricky to get the item you are holding to interact with the world as expected. An indicator when an item is able to be used might have gone a long way. The art style is quite nice. Really quite fun, I'd like to see a more fleshed out version.

This is a very cool concept and execution is great however sometimes it is hard to interact with objects and I seemed to be able to stop the animations by just walking away, also when the skeleton destroyed my anvil I had no way to get it back which meant instant game over. But I love this game it is a bunch of fun and the art style is very nice!

Nice game. I just couldnt buy a new anvil after they took mine :(. Also, one skeletton tried to steal iron, although I didnt have any. That was a little weird. The rest was great though. And really cool graphics.

This is like a crash course in multi-tasking, fun little compo entry.
It seems like if you lose your anvil, you're in an unwinnable state with no way to buy a new one?
Particularly annoying a that seems to be the first thing the skeletons went to destroy, lol

Fun little game, great graphics!
I agree with @justalocalhero though, it's pretty difficult to get things to work properly and it makes it very frustrating when you get killed for that xD

Really like this game but interacting with the items is difficult. I don't know where to click exactly and the mouse sometimes resets (at least in the web version)

You can feel the urge of doing everything super fast.

I would have made bigger collider for almost everything, in the middle of the action it's hard to be precise with the clicks :D

Pretty cool game!
Interacting with items is a bit hard, especially if I want to do things quickly.
And why can't these people with fancy new swords come and help defend my stuff from skeletons?? :D

I finally realized what the problem is with people having difficulties clicking on stuff, you have to be a certain distance close to the item to click it, and that distance is too small!
(maybe i fixed it now :D)

All shop simulators get a +1 in my book. It was hard to tell how to interact with things at first, mostly just learning where to click.

Nice game! It is pretty hard but you get the hang of it after a while. I do think the skeletons spawn too fast. Very unique take on the theme!

Really cool game, it kept me playing for 30 min right at the first try. Graphics are well done, the music is cool too. The only thing I didnt liked that much is sometime when I click at something it wount register the klick accurat. But really good job!

My guy wasn't that fast XD. I guess my game was over when a skeleton destroyed my anvil :')

Very cool concept. Only had to restart once because a mold was underneath the iron bars and I couldn't pick it up (I had no money to buy new stuff to get rid of the bars XD). Well done!

I really like the idea of the game, but I had some trouble with activating the structures. Also, I never figured out how to attack a skeleton. The graphics and sound were also very good

Interesting game, loved the animations. So much work was put into those! I found it a little annoying that I lost the sword after tossing it. Lots of mechanics in this game, impressive that you managed to combine everything and still make it work!

@bradur Losing the sword when tossing it is the "sacrificing" part, as you have to plan ahead, what you sell, and what sword do you use for protecting yourself. Thanks for the comment!

Really nice idea, with some cool graphics and pleasant sound. Only crit I have is the previously mentioned collision issues, particularly hard when under pressure. A lot of work went into this, so well done!

Well, that wasn't too easy :wink: I've played it a couple of times until I got how to make swords fast enough so I could kill the skeletons. It's very nice that you made the skeletons not immediately lethal but simply destroy an item you can re-buy later. Interesting and very creative concept! Well done!

Beautiful graphics! One bug(?): if you take the iron in your hands you can't put it down anymore, means when you have iron in the smelter, you lose. Also if you have the iron in your hands the skeletons that come in don't kill you, when they attack you from the front. Maybe cause they attack the iron but it still stays in your hands.
