Particle Mess by Tetha

[raw]
made by Tetha for LD35 (COMPO)
Ok, this game is kinda weird. It popped into my head quite early, and then I went ahead and build it.

Your goal is to build particle absorbers to suck up the round particles and turn them into triangle energy. The triangle energy then sloshes around in the green energy routers, until it reaches the blue Build-Power Producers, or the Pink Score producers.

Try to get as much score as possible! Or just look at the pretty mess you can create with enough stuff on the screen :)

To play this, download the jar-file and run it with java:
- On windows and mac, just double click it.
- On linux, probably doubleclick it as well, or do some > in a terminal.

I like the concept! :)

It was pretty fun, messing around with the different components, while trying to make an optimal layout.

Some simple sounds might make the mechanics feel even more satisfying :)

A fun little game. The idea behind it is great and all I would say it needs is a little polish. Nice work!

Simple and pretty. I would like to see more in terms of goals, but its a good idea!

Interesting! Reminds of the Industrialcraft nuclear reactor sub-game. I'm not sure what I had to do to win or lose the game; it seemed like my build points could just keep getting higher with no limit.

Very cool to see a simulation based game, nice job. Would be cool to develop it with something to work against.
