So... Two hours before the deadline, I finally finished my first LD game! I gotta say, it was tiring and fun, and even that I couldn't do everything I wanted because the lack of time, I guess it was a good learning experience :relieved:
[04/12/2017] Update: I forgot to upload the source code when I first posted this, I hope there's no problem in sending it late.

**Cons:** Bugs (getting stuck on the side of the platform), movement feels weird.
Next game, focus on completing and polishing gameplay before making the artwork and animations. Not bad for a first game, keep making more!
Also, to fix the bug of people getting stuck in the platform, just add a new physics material with 0 on bounciness and 0 on friction.
:)
Thanks for playing!
One tip I can give you is to try to give some sort of audio feedback when you get an item. Because it's very quiet so it feels a bit disconnected from the game reality.
Also, Try to balance out your sound volumes, the game over screen is very loud compared to the room volume. Since
Next up is not an error or a bug, but a recommendation: try to keep the song looping, so that even when you hit the restart button, you get to hear the music. Because I like how the music sounds but I only get to hear a few seconds of it before I restart.
Overall, solid work, this game is well done for your first Ludum Dare! :)
Thanks for playing and for feedbacking!
Btw, you can check the source code on github! And thanks for the advice!
Keep coding :)
While I enjoyed the art and audio, I felt that the game was pretty broken. As others have said, the character was very floaty. When you jump at the end of a platform, you land on a platform that is two platforms away and not even visible on the screen. That gives me a bit of anxiety not even being able to see where I am going to land. When it gets faster, it just makes the situation even worse as it is very difficult to judge where I will land when I can't even see it yet. I think this could be addressed in two ways. First, make the sprite about half the size it currently is if not even smaller. Do the same for the platforms. Second, don't have the player jump as high to remove the floaty aspect of it. These two things will allow the player to better judge their landing spot.
Good luck and I hope to see your entry for LD41!
