Circuitry by Jesper Fyhr Knudsen

[raw]
made by Jesper Fyhr Knudsen for LD 41 (JAM)

Screenshot circuirty.png Steer the electron home to the CPU!

The game is best enjoyed by running the Windows version, or in not fullscreen if you use the web version because it's a bit graphics-heavy.

Controlls: - Movement - Type the displayed words to move to the left/right or jump - Menu - Press Escape or Delete

About making the game: This was our (Jesper & Stoffe) second collaboration on making a game, and it was our first time ever making a 3D-game. As a bonus we also got our partners to join us. After a few hours of discussing what game to make we decided to make an educational endless runner game inspired by 'The typing of the Dead' and 'Subway Surfers'.

Not bad, finally I can see a typing game hehe. The rythm is a bit weird. Were I you I'd put different everyday-words, but its so good. It remembers me to this game: http://zty.pe/

Nice entry!

The concept is solid, and actually one of the better ones I've seen for typing-plus-something-else. The colour scheme and gui make the words _really_ hard to see, which is just frustrating, and it's also a little hard to tell where the collision is on the electron. But once you get into the groove it's cool!

Fun little toy; I feel there should be an option to increase difficulty. Also concur about the words being hard to see.

Pretty tricky, and a cool idea! It might be easier if it used regular words as you could quickly glance at the screen and then type from memory, but it still works well.

Had a hard time seeing the blue letters over the blue glow. Might be cuz I'm old and need new glasses. The look of it is really good though.

A really good interpretation of the theme! Liked the graphics and sound - would like to see the speed increase or something as well as the work length.

Thanks for sharing, well done!

Cool graphics and sound. Liked the aesthetic overall. My only advice would be to assign restart function to a button. Switching between keyboard and mouse in not a smooth experience :)

@Kainkun thank you for trying our game. Do you mean backspace, so you can delete what you have already typed?

Pretty fun, took me a bit to work out you only had to type the word and not press enter. The music is pretty repetitive though

Fun idea. And actually it was pretty easy to get a grip of this game, so props to you for that. BGM was a little bit repetitive, but i understand that it's really hard to make a fully developed track in that short amount of time.

I like the visuals and the combination of themes! The music was a tad repetitive but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
