MARATAKA by Vodzik
Description

You lived a happy life on an island in the middle of an ocean, but one day everything has changed. One of the eldest gods MARATAKA woke up after thousands of years and what he saw, was the village of godless people. You are the only one that can stop the God from wiping whole life from entire island. It won't be easy, but you already know that to survive, sacrifices must be made!
There are 5 possible endings of the game. Unfortunatly we didn't mannage to add cutscenes for them 😢 Share the ones that you've discovered in comments. Good luck! 😃

The path to the top of the volcano was unclear to me at first, and hard to find, when in a hurry, and an option to sprint would've been nice, just a little to close the gab in a pinch.
All in all I enjoyed the game.
Thank you for sharing your game.
Also.. please consider making a web build in the future, and in case you don't, please use zip packing :D
- I like the open world style and the game seems fairly simple
- The volcano is a great idea and the fireworks-style aesthetic is great
- I liked the super jump off the volcano. I don't think that was intended, it's more
a glitch but it's cool even though it's useless unless it's intended to help throw items
- Good elements such as water, civilians, huts, falling
- Great mood and prehistoric atmosphere
Improvements
- Picking up items is really choppy and difficult
- Dropping items is very annoying or seeing them get stuck
- Timer feels too quick
- I was going to try and get 5 "Human parts" in but it's quite difficult
- Moving around at the same time as moving view is choppy and ineffective
Overall
- Overall, it's a pretty good concept and you've applied it well to the theme of
sacrifice. I like how there are multiple different endings. There could be a little
more variety e.g. more puzzles, NPCs actually having a purpose e.g. can speak to them
or they can give thoughts and suggestions. Great prehistoric atmosphere. I can see
how you could have multiple levels with different centralised environments.
Good stuff and keep it up!
:)
