Description

ps1.png

You lived a happy life on an island in the middle of an ocean, but one day everything has changed. One of the eldest gods MARATAKA woke up after thousands of years and what he saw, was the village of godless people. You are the only one that can stop the God from wiping whole life from entire island. It won't be easy, but you already know that to survive, sacrifices must be made!

There are 5 possible endings of the game. Unfortunatly we didn't mannage to add cutscenes for them 😢 Share the ones that you've discovered in comments. Good luck! 😃

Nice game! Looking around was a little slow, a bit more speed on that would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, really nice. The graphics were great and quite a calming mood was created overall. Very well done! I use krita as well so it's nice to see another user!

Laughed quite hard at the voices haha. Pretty fun game, i accidentally got the self sacrifice ending first as i fell in after the body i threw in.

I really liked this game. I managed to find three endings, including unleashing his wrath. The graphics were really nice, and I liked the sounds. The mood was really great, and if it wasn't for the time pressure, I would've probably enjoyed simply walking around a little and enjoy the atmosphere.
The path to the top of the volcano was unclear to me at first, and hard to find, when in a hurry, and an option to sprint would've been nice, just a little to close the gab in a pinch.
All in all I enjoyed the game.

Thank you for sharing your game.

Overall a really fun game with a lot of character. The player movement felt a little laggy and it was unclear at first what part of the volcano I could climb up. The clubbing/fleeing SFX were on point and added to the humor of the game :v:

I thought this was a pretty fun entry overall. Although I agree with @mekuri about the path up the volcano being a bit unclear, could have been made easier to see with some torches at the base or something similar. The graphics and sounds were definitely my favorite, and added to the humor aspect of appeasing a cranky god, one who apparently doesn't like bananas.

@sodaraptor wow, I thought that noone would figure out that are bananas, the model I've made is lets say "not perfect at all" Wouldn't it be too easy if you have clear path to the volcano at the beginning? :)

@sodaraptor, @gucio-miszcz I think we could add some markings. I thought about pillars with skulls during development, but we didn't manage to add them on time. Now, the easiest way to find correct path is to look on crater edge. It is where it is lowest.

The graphics are nice but the gameplay is quite boring and I think it's too easy.

Guys above picked already the most painful points - laggy movement, unclear path on the volcano - that was it at least for me. Otherwise very pleasant experience, lots of character, lots of funny but fitting sfx, nice work done on graphics. Overall I had fun playing your game, thanks for that!

A bit on the easy side, but quite amusing, liked the humor!

Also.. please consider making a web build in the future, and in case you don't, please use zip packing :D

Positives
- I like the open world style and the game seems fairly simple
- The volcano is a great idea and the fireworks-style aesthetic is great
- I liked the super jump off the volcano. I don't think that was intended, it's more
a glitch but it's cool even though it's useless unless it's intended to help throw items
- Good elements such as water, civilians, huts, falling
- Great mood and prehistoric atmosphere

Improvements
- Picking up items is really choppy and difficult
- Dropping items is very annoying or seeing them get stuck
- Timer feels too quick
- I was going to try and get 5 "Human parts" in but it's quite difficult
- Moving around at the same time as moving view is choppy and ineffective

Overall
- Overall, it's a pretty good concept and you've applied it well to the theme of
sacrifice. I like how there are multiple different endings. There could be a little
more variety e.g. more puzzles, NPCs actually having a purpose e.g. can speak to them
or they can give thoughts and suggestions. Great prehistoric atmosphere. I can see
how you could have multiple levels with different centralised environments.

Good stuff and keep it up!

Clear gameplay, a bit sluggish movement. Found I lost quite often trying to go the wrong way up the volcano. I like the self-sacrifice option. And the clubbing element felt really on-point. Great job!

The models were really cool and it's awesome that you guys made a 3D game! I especially appreciated the villagers fleeing when I decide to sacrifice them. Very funny and fun!
