Farm to Table by mrspeaker

Farm To Table: the supramundane, numinous hamburger experience.

The Steakholders are angry, and they expect results. They - along with the humble and hard-working citizens of Farmtotabletown - have invested their faith in You. Faith in you, as their transcendental social and economic linchpin.

It sounds easy, but the perfect burger business may require a few sacrifices.

It took me a while to figure our what was happening. But once I got it... *BAMM* a metaphysical and ghostly take on the sacrificial business simulator.

Hats off to you.

@figglewatts - what song is it?! I heard a guy on the subway playing it and it stuck in my head. I had to go back and record it and made this dodgy version of it for the game!

@mrspeaker It's the Song of Storms from Zelda Ocarina of Time! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43IPAGw01IY

This was cool! There didn't seem to be a score(?) but I played one round for a long while before I ran out of bodies. I really like that you need to balance the needs of the company to stay a float. Cool game!

I always bred the two with the best stats. Got the stats up to a couple of hundreds, haha. Then I think the game broke. But very cool game!

I tried to figure out, keep playing for about five minutes but didnt understand what i was supposed to do. I kept dragging them from one field and another and eventually grinding them all. Only when i saw the comment section here that @adroitconceptions 'explained' i could actually play it understanding what i was supposed to be done.

I guess a tutorial or at least a paragraph with instructions would really help. The graphics and sounds, although simple are effective in this kind of game, maybe a way to hide its dark nature.

I don't think I did much to appease the steakholders, but I don't think either they or I minded either. Glad I was putting humans into the meat grinder rather than cows. A very veggie-friendly game. :cowboy: + :leaves: = :hamburger:

It took me a while to figure out how to make the meat. I came back here to this page to check if I had missed anything, haha. What a dark game, underscored by the eerie Song of Storms melody. The game manages to be cute and dark at the same time. The 'love shack' and grinder especially. The Steakholders are delighted, in any case.

Lol, when i found that I need to put the job seeker into the grinder to produce the steak I laugh my head off.
