You are flying through space; however, using your thrusters drains the energy reserve. Survive as long as possible without destroying or stranding your ship.

Controls

Use <A> and <D> to rotate the ship and <W> to active the thrusters. Fire weapons using the spacebar.

The art and sound fit the game really well and the controls work great.
I also like that you put a small tutorial in the game to teach the player the basics of the game.
Well done!

Nice game! I loved the parallax effect, and the theme is well respected.
(I was stuck in the Tutorial the first time, couldn't find the last enemy!)
If you want to work again on your game post LD, it would be nice to add a radar-system (which could drain energy too of course)
Good job!

A fun top-down shooter! Bumping off of planets is really cute and the whole aesthetic is very clean. One small issue I had is with enemy spawns, I would have like ten of them spawn in at once and kill me immediately. Still, I had a lot of fun!

Really fun game. The tutorial is a great feature, the game is fun and the art is really cute. I would add some kind of feedback when you receive damage (maybe tint the player sprite red for a brief moment?)

Very solid game. The art is on point for this game and the music fits really well. The controls took a bit to get used to but work well with the game. I would recommend adding a timer for how long you were alive or a tracker to how many ships you destroyed to give more purpose to the game. Overall I really enjoyed the game.

Really fun title! Loved that the planets actually had a gravity well attached to them - and could ensnare enemies :)

Great job, congrats on the entry!

Wow, just wow. Amazing retro-styled game with beautiful graphics and big attention to detail(that parallax effect for background stars is just epic). This game is very polished and even has really nice tutorial(the best one I've seen so far). It also looks like this game is ready to be published on Steam, just add some more content achievements and put it there. It is definitelly one of the best I have played during this Ludum Dare.

Nice little game. I really liked the solid feel of the controls(that most LD games lacking).

A good game with interesting gameplay. Simple tutorial, but movement controls difficult for me. Excellent pixel art. Good job!

Graphics and aound fit the game really well and made it very clear to understand what was going on on screen.

The laser shots of the enemies were a bit hard to dodge but maybe I just need more prectice :)

This is a very nice game! The graphics were very nice and the parallax effect in the background for the stars was a nice touch. The sound effects and background music was also very good and definitely added to the experience. I did find the controls a bit tricky at first, but I soon got the hang of it. One idea would be to be able to click and shoot (I kept clicking the left mouse button instead of the space bar to shoot half the time). Another thing you might want to add to your game would be a point system so that the player has a sense of how long and well they survived in your game. Overall, great work and I am curious to see what you do next with it!

Nice graphics!
Shooting should be on mouse-button -- using space for shooting is really awkward.
