Hey, funny punchline at the end. Other than that I have to say this does not make much sense. It seems the poker part is completely irrelevant so we are basically left with a customized ad at the end.

It is great that you created this in 48 hours, props for that. Still it is quite confusing to be honest. At first I just clicked through the questions, not really paying attention to them. I was trying to figure out how the poker game works and what it had to do with the likes.
After playing through I read the comments and it became clear that the only real joke here is the ad at the end. Replaying and paying attention to the answers I realized you had some things prepared here.

Another thing, the source code and HTML5 links point to the same page. Where is your source code?

@gonutz thank you for your comment. The source is on the Itch page, just below the game "download"

At first I thought you were collecting my personal data. The end was worst than this (Good entry, man)

This was strange. I don't understand it at all, but at least you've invented something unique.

Nice ending lol. Really nice take on the theme, since your *actual* life is a currency and not any in-game life. I really liked that.

I think if maybe you had to spend likes to get a second deal then the gameplay would have been more engaging. I know the point is in the 'story' and I think it serves well as an art piece, but reading other reviews I see some people never made it that far and maybe some sort of risk/reward system would encourage more people to stick around for the ending. Some sort of background music or ambient sound would go a long way too.

I love your take on the theme and how that's integrated. I do feel there needed to be more variety when it comes to the poker aspect other than the deal button. I do love how the game ends. It was overall a pretty fun experience but needed a bit more game play

That was a unique take on "life as currency". Good job!

@john-snyder have you figure out how to change cards? If not is OK: is a common issue with the interface. I will add some blinking squares in the post jam version :-D

Interesting concept, but I think for this idea to work fully, there should be some sort of social network integration, so people would answer actual questions about themselves. Although, if that was the case I would probably have passed on the game, because I'm a scaredy cat and don't want to give my personal info to anyone, so I'm glad it's not the case in current version

@annie-owl an optional social integration (via a simple link to invite your friends and have a sort of compatibility test/poker game) was planed but scraped because I had issues with external links in the compiled HTML5 versions hosted on itch.io, and not enough time to debug it.

Maybe is something for the postjam release
