Corpo-inc: Escape from the Cyber Scroller by Sarrixx

[raw]
made by Sarrixx for LD 41 (JAM)

titleScreen.png A combination of classic 2-D side-scrolling mechanics with a first-person perspective. This game is a short game made for the Ludum Dare #41 72 hour game jam in April 2018. All mechanics and art were made by me.

There are many bugs, especially when it comes to jumping. This was my first solo Ludum Dare. You can jump on the heads of some enemies to score points and kill them.

Controls W - Forward S - Back L-Shift - Sprint L-Ctrl - Crouch Tab - Rotate 180

Nice job, but the handling is a little imprecise one is hindered when one is near the blocks, and the gravity of the jumps is particular, to make everything more flexible and faster would give a better feeling.

(LD version) I found it very hard to play, the music however was good!

Nice entry, like how it has the feeling of the side scroll, but it is really difficult to jump over enemies without a third person camera, maybe could rotate the camera down a bit when jumping would help to understand where the enemy is.
Great art in general.
Good Job!

I liked the concept, as @Guilb said maybe with a little rotation of the camera would be better to jump over the enemies. Good entry

@Guilb @Paulo Brunassi Yeah I do have an idea for a mechanic where you can look down 45 degrees or so when you press e. Will definitely be something I chuck in when I return to it and make another update :) Thank you so much for the feedback!
