Shapeshifting Space by VictorDoval
Toggle your mind to polar coordinates and enjoy with this minimalist experiment!!
I wanted to try with p5.js and i really had fun with it.
The generative 'music' is created along the game based in Perlin Noise formulas so should be different every time you play.
(Only working on Chrome. Also sometimes gets full of strange noises till you reload the web-page).
No pixels were harmed during this development: Just pure code :)
A pleasure to participate for second time in the Ludum Dare.
And now lets play!
UP/DOWN ARROWS to change radius*.
CTRL to switch rotation direction*.
M to mute and P to pause.
Thanks!
*[After Compo Edit: In order to embed the game I added W/S to change radius and Q to switch rotation. Anyway it still works slightly better when playing in the "Web" link ]
16-4-22 Added Post-Compo link with more eye candy..

Very original concept. Took a few deaths to get the hang of the controls. Maybe left/right arrow instead of control key would make it more intuitive?

First I thought the game was great but as you said the music and the graphics are purely coded I think this is a really great entry.

Interesting and weird in a good way. The sound generated is sort of relaxing and very nice.

Nice, very orginal :) Sounds are too loud but loved the atmosphere :) Challenge is enough easy/hard, good balance. Really liked the atmosphere !

Interesting, would be nice to have more of an explanation about the aim / rules.
