Pretty good!! I really love the graphics. I think that the premise is really quite interesting and it could be expanded on with some success. One piece of feedback I can give is that I think maybe the hitboxes for fitting the food into the appropriate recepticle could be a bit more lenient as I frequently spend too much time just throwing it repeatedly at the correct piece until it goes in.

Overall, nice job!

How do I run this? Download is just a .jar? I tried running `java` or `javaw` `chaos-space-kitchen.jar`, which I thought was how I might run jars, but nothing happened.

@jimbly It's `java -jar chaos-space-kitchen.jar`, fyi

That got it to run, though it seems to crash whenever I accidentally throw something at an animal instead of into a receptacle, only useful bit in the output is `# Problematic frame: C [gdx-box2d.dll+0x1f6eb]`. Perhaps this requires a different version or flavor of Java than I have (looks like I've got "v1.8.0 portable" from a previous Ludum Dare), perhaps making a bundled version with all of the dependencies so people can just run it directly would be good (and perfectly legit to do post-competition, as that's packaging/porting, not development).

Was fun for the seconds I could play it though ^_^.

Nice game... love the smooth scrolling. You have to be on your game to advance, which increases the pressure.

I did get one crash for some reason though, but it happens :grinning:

Frantic and fun. Liked the graphics. Was a bit frustrating with the hero sliding around on the floor.

The game is indeed hectic from the first level, and as it progress, it gets a lot chaotic. Well, it really fits the theme. And great job on music+sound and graphics as well. :)

This is amazing! I liked the artwork and the music, but it was too fast paced for me :D
I like how it says "Too much pressure" when you lose.
Good job!

Really good game. The artwork and music are great. The controls felt weird at first, since there is a lot of sliding around. However, it felt satisfying to throw the stuff into the receptacles and that was partly because of how the controls worked.

I like the kinda floaty controls! Gets very hard very quick though, and the. Good humor in the design. The pigs are a bit more of a random hindrance than something you can actively avoid.

Great DIY-y looking graphics and music - I like that there's multiple music themes.

Smooth, fitting music, and a nice camera system! The game itself was quite fun to play aswell, although when you fail you have to start all over again, which over time gets old rather quick. Nice entry though!

Let me start by saying that those graphics were really good, I really liked them.
The music also adds to the game, fun but not annoying. The gameplay itself was ok. I don't know why you can't throw the food into a specific direction but instead throws randomly? Still filling the cooking pot just in time feels satisfying.

All in all, good game!

Great presentation! The audio and especially the graphics were great! I liked the idea, but it seemed very unforgiving about putting food into the containers. A lot of times where it seemed like it would definitely go in it would just fly over the oven. If you smoothed that out a bit it would be fantastic!

Pretty great game! I enjoyed it when I was able to play it. I was only ever able to get to level 2 before the game kept crashing on me, which was too bad because I really wanted to move ahead. Otherwise, great job!

It's fun and cute, but it's too hard for me! It gets really hard when those things are running around and bumping me around.

Cool animation and also the sound fit well! :)
I got just a bit annoyed when the character was pushed around by running pigs, but it's a minor detail :)

Nice music and graphics (I think the latter could be a bit more consistent though, for example with the contour color of the sprites).
The gameplay and controls are pretty fun but the item spawning is a bit too random in my opinion (sometimes I'd have a grill spawned on top of an oven for example). The time limit is quite short too and after many tries I couldn't pass the 3rd level.
Overall it is a nice game, it could a use a bit of polish to be even better if you're willing to keep working on it :).
