Great visuals, sweet humor, smooth gameplay. I wish I could flex for increased damage irl.
i liked that animations and that thunder sound that was pretty neat!
Enjoyed the upgrade system. Keep up the work!
Only thing i would change/edit is the background music that was not that well fitting for me.
However, i think you might have missed the mark a bit with balancing as i just found it too hard to beat, i couldnt get till the end because there are far too little chicken to replenish health and when you start getting bombarded by enemies and you cant block it or dodge it properly there is nothing one can do :/
Regardless, i found the game hilarious, creative and entertaining!

Things I liked:
* This game has a surprising amount of polish!
* I felt the players abilities had a really well done game feel and both platforming+combat felt very responsive.
* I especially liked the slight time-scale when hitting enemies, makes the impact feel weighty. Good attention to detail.
* The art direction was weird as hell... and I loved it.
Things I would change:
* Spending health to gain abilities (and use some) was a kind of boring way to incorporate the theme.
* Add an invulnerability period when the player is hit. I was getting knocked back into even more damage.
One of the part is really hard (where enemies come back a lot) The level design is interesting too!
PS: imho you should not be able to be rated in audio, you use the music of Hollow Knight.. not really fair.
It would have been nice if all the game was made with the same graphical style, it would have felt more consistent.
The sound effects are very nice however the music doesn't really fit in my opinion.
The mecanics/physics are surprisingly good for a jam game. Most actions feel very good (I guess the jump could perhaps be slightly improved). I loved the air slide/dash.
The hit effect looks very good too !
The level design could maybe be improved a little too, I tried quite a few times but could never defeat the ambush during the second level where there's a bazillion dudes. However I did try at least 5/6 times because the game was fun and I wanted to succeed.

This is by far the best game I've tested for this jam. I love the visual and sound effects you used to highlight the dark humour of your game. Even tough the graphics are pretty simple, you managed to turn that at your advantage with the chara design the most ridiculous yet funny I've seen in a while.
Just one problem though : There's no invincibility frame when you gat hit by an enemy, which means if you're surrounded by chicken tenders, you're pretty much done for. Apart from that, that's an amazing job, dude. Glad to see games like this one stand out of the rest of the jam ;)
My eyes and my ears hurts from the thunder but I guess it's feel good.
Overall this game is very good but but at some moment I was really upset for example when enemy keeps throwing tenders at you when you don't even see them. I died like 4 time from a tender that came from the direction I went to. I guess a parry / reflect mechanic would make sense here. And I didn't manage to make good use of the upgraded mechanics (probably because I don't know how to use them) because most of the time I didn't want to take the risk of losing feather, plus the feather that I lose are stuck in the air and I can't reach it.
