_Ever dreamed of owning a lot of chicken? What if you had too much of them?_ :hatched_chick:

In Chickens & Elves, colorful creatures help you extend your coop while the chicken family's growing. Assign elves to a portion of land according to their job (simple worker, woodman or miner) and build as quickly as you can! Don't let the sleepy elves take naps or the building won't be ready on time.

The graphics are awesome, the music's very nice, and congrats for putting together such a nice game in such short a time! I like the puzzle aspect once I understood it, but the tutorial didn't do it for me and I almost gave up on the game. It didn't help that it felt like some of my clicks didn't register - or perhaps I just wasn't sure what to expect. The "sleep" mechanic may be more pleasant if we can wake them up with just the mouse cursor perhaps?

Edited to add: I love how the little chicks jump when you finish a level! I made it to the end, perhaps add a "congratulations" screen?

This was so addictive I completely lost notion of time while playing. I liked the mix of a puzzle type and farming type game. Graphics are really good, love the grumpy faces of the elves, the animation of the chicks, although I found the elves and the chicks didn't fit 100 % together but that's quibbling. Like the previous comment, I found the tutorial very elusive and found myself clicking everywhere randomly because I didn't have a clue on what to do. Apart from that, it is a great entry !

That's a cute little funny game ! I really liked the whole tone and mood. Graphics are cute and good, music fits in perfectly and the game feels quite relaxing. The theme fits great with this game.
I just feel like sometimes my clicks aren't quite registered, but it's maybe the html5 version that struggles a bit.
Good job !

I enjoyed the graphics, the music was a little loud. After a few play throughs what needed to be done made more sense. Maybe making it obvious that a new room being made expanded your time. Also, the clicking became a little tedious.

Really fun! I liked the puzzle element to it but I couldn't figure out the controls for the first few minutes of playing

Pretty unique game. It also took me a while to figure out what to do at first but afterwards it snowballed fast. The presentation is great and it looks like you were already prepping to have this go on mobile since it fits very well on those screens. You put a great coat of paint on everything and it looks professional. I thought you did a great job of balancing and creating tension with the chicks spawning so fast and impressed with the systems you accomplished.

Gameplay is really efficient :) As it's already been said, it's not immediately clear what needs to be done, but from my experience it's still been pretty quick to get.

Graphics are great as well, and so is the theme interpretation :) well done!!
