Coin Odyssey is the modern tale of what it's like to be a coin on the run. When everyone on the planet is looking for money, living life as a currency is difficult. Other coins accept their harsh fate, but you decide to run until you can't anymore.

Goal

Your job is simple: escape before he catches you. Slowly flip your way to the exit, and boost yourself when necessary.

There are a total of 5 levels, each focusing on a specific challenge. Each level has a different layout of obstacles. The further you get into the game, the harder the levels become. Each level is beatable.

Good job, did find the camera and move controls to hold you back. If you are moving while rotating the camera then your move gets locked to where you were pointing, making it very hard to get around fast. You seem to have to move , turn the camera, then move some more.

The controls feel extremely clunky (due to the coin mechanic I guess), but it's graphically nice and very innovative, so that's definitely a plus :D

The camera wobbling around as you move is quite nauseating, but I like the concept and the visuals on display

The controls were a bit hard to get used to, but I eventually got a hang of it. The controls would have been way better without the fixed camera.
It's a fun and very interesting game. Really like it ^^

Very good work! yeah the camera control is weird but damn it feelt good to pass the first level :v: the music fit's perfectly the atmosphere and the theme was treated right. Congratulations on trying some crazy mechanics!

Great job. The camera is a bit unpleasant but still a solid game overall! Quite funny also when *he* catches you.

Love the lighting and the atmosphere created. I do agree that the controls and camera feels a little clunky.

Nice twist on the theme. At first I didn't realize the hand would only catch you if you were on the ground, so I tried to hurry to the exit. Music is a bit repetitive and little nit pick, but there doesn't seem to be a way to close the game. I enjoyed the different levels and the hand feels really creepy, good work!

It would be funny if the number of coins in the starting pile went down each level, until the last level is the last coin escaping. then the win screen could have HIM sulking in a corner, penniless. I think the controls could be improved to allow high skill edge rolling shenanigans, but you did a good job given the timeframe. great work! (I would have wasted all my time getting edge rolling to work, then not finished.)

Funny idea. The camera made me a little dizzy. Good job :)

You move a little too slow. Nice life-as-coin game!

The idea is great, it reminds me of Garry's Mod TTT where you can possess items :D.

It is definitely different... I have never played as a coin before. Way to take the theme literally! :)

Its fun, I like it. But the camera is a little wobbly, and the music is REALLY grating.

Otherwise its really good.

I love the premise, but the camera is very difficult to work with. I also think the hand is a little unnecessary since the levels were alreaydy pretty challenging to maneuver already. Really cool take on the theme though; wish I could turn on my side and roll!

Music is too loud, would appreciate controls for that. And level restart would be nice. Like the take on the theme!

Quite clunky controls. I think a way to improve it would be to change the boost from a jump forward to making the coin jump on its side and to start rolling. That way you can zip around at speed for a set time limit whilst still retaining the slower movement when it's over.
Nice work but the controls need improving
