PS

I wanted to create more gameplays (shooter, driving, rhythm game) but I lost time and motivation because of the french elections. It wasn't meant to be "just" a platformer. Anyway, I hope you'll like it. :]

Oh, the struggle... Holy hell, I love this. This is great! Coherent design, humour and everything. Good job!

Loved the idea! Really relatable . I actually didn't expect the platformer in there, I thought it'd just have a narrative since you said you struggled to make
the game. Played til the end! It was fun, and extremely unique, so I hope you get a good placement in the end. And holy hell were you right about the dark souls difficulty. On the last couple levels I was like "I don't have to finish the game to tell him what I think" but I decided to push through and had fun. If you ever update this I have 2 suggestions:
1. Inverse the colors of the brain/eye and the main character. It'd make it much easier on the eyes, make the guy representing you look less evil, the crying less creepy, etc. Although I realized you wanted the Twitter symbol to actually be it's correct color...perhaps it'd be fixed with the colors changing when speaking/playing or something?
2. The sound effect for when you win the level should not be the same as when you die, it makes it so much less satisfying you know? It's like beating a Mario level and still hearing the dying sound.
Otherwise amazing game! Good job and good luck with ratings!

I actually really liked this and connected with it as a developer who struggles with their creations. The difficulty was right on the money, and I think you did very well with every aspect of it. I think my only complaint is the feeling of losing even when I win... which is totally irrational, but it might be what you're going for.

I really enjoy the concept and the narrative of this game, so even if the difficulty was evil itself I was motivated to reach the end :D
Also I love visuals and Wario Ware style music :p

I love this original concept : it's finally a good idea! I like the minimalist style of the platformer and the soundtrack. Nicely done for only 48 hours. I had a small bug the first time but when I restarted it does not reproduce. A good emotionnal experience for me.

Very funny at the beginning, but it is very hard to control character. Sometimes character doesn't react to controls, sometimes he doesn't stop.

This was great! I love the art style and metatextual games like this are pretty rare in LD. nice work

This is a super great indie game. The best part is naturally the story. The game mechanics is perhaps not anything special, but for this game it has to be bad. Well done.

Congratulations for overcoming your struggle ! That's really interesting to see how spectating the thoughts and making of a game or level design creates a more engaging feeling and response to the details of these designs.

I would suggest to add a skipping (or acceleration) mechanism to written monologs though, to fit the reading speed of the player. Texts slower than your reading speed are always a bit infuriating :)

Bravo !

Nice game, I liked it. It was cool how you used theme and the humor was great. The text was a bit slow in the beginning, maybe you should let the player decide when he wants to see the next bit of text. The platforming was a bit generic. The gameplay in general wasn't very good, but then again it was only made in 72 hours. Still, I like it a lot. Well done!

It's very good idea: a game around the game creation ! I like it.
Nice spin on the theme. So, the GD are great. Nice sound except maybe the win sound it's the same of the died sound. Level design is cool too (maybe a little classique but it's not the goal of the game).
Nice entry

Bien joué (un compatriote développeur français :p)

The platforming got a bit obnoxious by the end, but I really like the conceit here!

Unique & lovely concept! I thought the game was well paced but could do with a tiny bit more polish. Still cool though!

Wow what great idea. I love the humor that you added to the theme, its very unique interpretation of the small world theme. It has nice narrative and the platforming was a nice twist. The art was good but the color palette was little strong for me with the red and yellow. the music was hypnotizing and fit very well with the game. I had good fun playing it!

Great job. The art was really good. You did well with humor. Some of the cut-scenes seemed a bit to long but besides that it was really fun.

Dude, this is amazing. A really really funny experience, my favourite game played for now. Graphics are simple but with incredible animations (head, brain, text, etc). I just love this game.

After playing for a while, I didn't see any reason to continue playing . . .
Didn't really see much appeal in this game . . . :(

This is really awesome, the humor is great and very meta, and the level design was challenging but in a fun way. Great job

The overall is really good and fun, not really sure about the theme though. Love the realization and the puzzle. Nice feeling all along, the struggle feels so real

Finally took the time to play this game, and it's really great! I love these kind of experiences! This type of humor really reminds me of The Rub Rabbits! on DS. It's the funniest entry by far from what I've played, and live the game litteraly inside the game of the creator is really a unique take on the theme.
The graphics are cool and the music is well selected. Overall it's a perfect game for a jam, it reminds us all of our struggle to find ideas. Well done!

Such a clevel idea! A metanarrative of sorts. Loved the vibrant color palette as well. Controls are a bit stiff, but that's okay. Great entry!

Nice game. I liked the sense of irony. It's interesting to add narrative to a simple plateformer, it really keeps it interesting

But I'm not really into Dark Soul difficulty ;) (I abandoned after like 100 tries on "blobs not adding depth level", the main dfficulty being that sometimes the little fellow would not respond to direction keys and only jump upwards)

Anyway it's a good entry, congrat's!

Really love everything about this game :D Even though it got quite difficult in later levels, it was still a lot of fun to play. Really loved the graphics. You did an excellent job!

Oh man, what a great way to handle a classic platformer idea.
It's so smart and hitting the right spots. The graphics are just excellent, too! I'm really fond of this, I wish there was a lot more to it because it's a really interesting idea ahah.
Thank you!
