Hi,

this is my entry for LD39. Goal of the Game is, to cover as much distance as possible, before you run out of power.

There is also a global highscore :). (please don't mess with it, I know its possible --> you can't prevent fraud if you want to publish the source as well)

If possible play with sound.

Cool game, with unconventional, but learnable controlls.
Made the first place :-D
I loved the thrusters, reminded me of babylon 5.

Died at the first alien i ran into, haha. Fun game that worked well with the theme, no complaints. The AI companion's comments worked well to boost the humor factor a bit.

Good idea using text-to-speech for the audio. The game was pretty good, and I liked the little clippy that appeared at the bottom. The little touches were quite funny too, like how the name input will increase whenever you clicked 'start' without writing a name. I'm really quite bad at these kinds of games that require agility so I kept smashing into the asteroids. Graphics are quite decent. Maybe consider changing the energy level into a progress bar instead of changing colors, as that may show the level more accurately (unless the intention is to obscure it)? Good job!

It was a very fun, chill and relaxed game. My friend loves to make space games but his controls are always scientifically accurate so the controls just get confusing.

Whoop whoop! I got third place! I liked the momentum that the ship had - it was almost like asteroids in that it could be your friend or foe depending on how you used it. It's impressive how you worked a tutorial and frequent dialogues into this too. Overall, great job!

Good gameplay and nice with a tutorial and highscore. The humor was also a bonus! I did have a hard time to realise if I already had a core etc but with sound ques and stuff the game gave me plenty of feedback

**First of all:**THE CAKE IS A LIE!!! And I miss windows XP as well :(

**Overall game impression:** Over so, overall this was amazing experience and gameplay. It is very fun and innovating. The energy bar being in middle of the ship is very clever design! The sound effects and graphics are very good, really good but the voiced jokes as well as energy notifications make it a lot more awesome. Very good little touch.
The gameplay is very straight forward and interesting(Tough Controls aren't, once I learned to use Space and Shift, it became a lot easier and more engaging). The ship controls and drifting with the momentum must've been hell to program.
A really COOL touch is the leaderboard imho. I'm currently 2nd and 3rd places :P doubt i'll stop in the top for long when people start waking up and playing. But great job, awesome game!

**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** Making shooting possible with holding the button would make it a little easier imho. Though who am I to take? I did that as well, press to shoot instead of hold to shoot hahah! Also mentioning Space and Shift in tutorial would help (or was it mentioned and I'm just silly?)

p.s. check out my game as well please.

This is a fun game. I found the controls very difficult (especially the brake), I would have preferred the option to use a controller. The voice stuff is great and the graphics are really nice. The shooting and explosion sounds started to really piss me off after not long. As a red/green colourblind person I had no idea how much energy I had except when she announced it.

Did you play with having the ship be a more compact shape like a square?

Gameplay very good. I love the humour touch with the windows paper clip who keeps telling me that it feels like I'm bored.
Keep moving forward.

Great game and very funny audio, liked the idea of lost in space and no ui to help me out, just a voice. Good job!

I'll say, I like the way you've made the lighting look cool with normal maps on the sprites. Other than that, it's a pretty standard shmup. :)

It felt to me like a mix of Asteroids with Super Stardust and an infinite runner, which felt really good! Managing your ship's energy, while going through an asteroid field and travelling was really fun!

It also looks really nice (nice bumpmaps there ;P) and plays nice, though it kinda felt a bit repetitive after some time (even though enemies appeared), but the challenge kept increasing (which is really good).

Good job there!
