A super quick game I made using a tiny and fast game engine called Bitsy by @AdamLeDoux! I didn't decide to participate until it was already too late and I had a flight to catch... I spent about 4 hours making this, and I was on a flight half that time.

I submitted this game with about 10% battery left (laptop was running out of power), 10 mins of WiFi left, and while 40,000 ft in the air!!

For 4 hours, that was really impressive. I thought it was full of character, despite have such simple sprites, and I was genuinely curious to see what would happen. It was a little annoying have to to tap the movement keys instead of holding them, but other than than nice work!

As for the game made in 4 hours it is really big. Graphics looks very nice, it reminds me some of the games from C64. To sum up with it is a very fun game to play.

Really fun and well-done, especially for 4 hours! The graphics and dialogue felt quirky and charming and it was fun to explore. I couldn't find the 3rd ending - sorry, Power Bot!

Cute, simple concept but fun! Holding the movement keys worked for me.

Cute little game, though I was very puzzled when I first started playing because I thought it was controlled with the mouse. I kept clicking and the character would move, but most of the collision wasn't there and the rooms would play out in the wrong order. When I finally figured out that it was with keyboard I liked the cute little stories, but I always like finding little seams in games and I didn't expect to see that here. Fun game. I like the art and animations.

I loved the graphics! At first I thought it was a rouguelike game, you know, because the controls. A really well done game for being made in 4h! Nice aproach of the theme. Oh! and those dialogues! I wanted to talk with everything and everyone in there :D

You are a beast! This was a really fun and to have done it in the air. Now that's something for the bucket list! It took me a minute to get that last ending!

This game is super cute! Played through every ending :) Also had the bug where you could click to move through walls and things.

Haha that must have been fun to cram out. Playing using both the arrows keys and WASD simultaneously makes things go much faster =X Fun~

This is gonna kill me, where is the 3rd ending!??!?!

I tend to not care for game stories but you had me intrigued right at the key, and everything past that. I demand more.

@kleinzach Mouse control is a feature from the game engine, but it seems like it's not catching the flags that mark which tiles are walls. Thanks for catching it!

@@peachtreeoath try poking around the boss room a little bit more. Glad you enjoyed the story!

So adorable!!!! Got all 3 endings (lovely). Loved the C64/ Speccy vibe. Love that you budgeted your time precisely and managed to finish it under those conditions! Lots of lessons for a rash gamedev like me <3

Top marks from me <33333

That was a neat little project!! I would love to see it fully fleshed out :) I loved the graphics and the mood that you created in such a short time frame. The way the world was constructed, it felt much bigger than it was which is a good way to expand on the idea. I look forward to your future projects!! :)

Cute game! I'm a little annoyed with myself that I needed your hint to find the third ending. Obviously what you've done is phenomenal given the time constraints. If you had any more time, I would have liked some bleep-bloop sound effects to round it out. Great work!

This is definitely good ; strangely immersive, maybe this is due to the low-fi/abstract graphics? Or maybe the story?
I dunno, anyway, i played through and found the 3 endings!
Your game made me want to do my next game with extra-low-res graphics :-)
Kudos!
