You're trapped in a burning building with no way out. You encounter several people, asking for you help. Your only means of escape is to offer sacrifices to a demon. The more worthy the person, the better the chances. Whom and how many are you willing to sacrifice to save yourself?

Gameplay:

There are 5 rooms per floor.

You are presented with 3 people per room.

Clicking on a person's card will save him/her, which adds to your party.

You only have 4 slots available in your party. Clicking on a slot will empty it out, abandoning the person.

At the end of each floor, the demon will appear, giving you a chance to sacrifice party members in order to escape.

The better the traits the sacrifice has, the better your chances of escape.

I think the time going to fast that i can't even look faces of victims let alone their description. But overall is good. Wish you good luck!

Good music and the game feels polished, but it's very fast, I could not read any of the descriptions, and didn't understand what the percentages mean.

The game goes by super quick, but maybe that's not necessarily a bad thing. I guess if anything it makes the sacrifices a bit more meaningless if you can't properly understand what you're sacrificing to begin with.

@konsumopfer77 This is how I get it to run on Ubuntu. Right-click on either .x86(32-bit) or .x64(64-bit) -> properties -> permission -> check "allow executing file..." Then you should be able to double click to launch the game.

Amazing artwork and music! The fire and smoke aesthetics also looked really cool. It took me a little while to figure out what i was supposed to do so a mini explanation at the start could help. Perhaps some more stuff could have been added to further increase the replay-ability of the game. Overall, a great looking game with a cool take on the theme!

really cool game but its way to fast to compare people's traits, so you have to rely on text's colors.

I like the fast pace. Ultimately, I am unsure of what the goal is. What is benefited from saving upstanding citizens? Whilst the answer is probably 'morality', I don't develop much connection, particularly when I have five seconds to save them. Maybe there could be some sort of 'fight to escape hell' thing where the stats and characteristics of the people you save can help you? I would also like a way to see the traits of my current crew and compare them with the people in the room. Overall, neat concept, and the fast decisions are interesting.

Good game, the illustration and the music are very successful. Sometimes everything goes very fast and doesn't give time to compare people, but it's funny. Good work

Music was great! Didn't actually feel like any sound was missing, though it could have been cool to hear screams when you sacrificed people to make the decision feel a bit more weighty.

Wasn't too keen on the fast pace, it made me not care about the people and only about whether their stats were green, which took away the feeling of sacrifice.

Had fun none the less, and didn't run into any bugs. Good work!

Cool game! As one reviewer mentioned, I found it difficult to really form any attachment with any of the characters, and I wasn't too sure why you'd show me so many people when I can only ultimately choose 4? It was kind of unbalanced. Or maybe at the end of each room I'm supposed to sacrifice all of them and then see if they can "escape" the sacrifice? In any case, I think there's some really interesting moral questions to explore here.

It is difficult to make decisions once you have 4 people in your party since you cant re examine their stats

Once I figured out what was going on, I just looked for as much green text on the card as I could find. That seemed to work out.

This game is a little weird.
