In the power factory your task is to make sure the factory does not run out of power. You will do this by placing power stations around the map. There is a big chance that something will go wrong, and you have to be prepared to repair the factory as fast as possible.

Eventually you will loose, and the factory will collapse.

That was a nice, nifty game, if not a bit repetitive. It was certainly different. Here's the factory I had going for a while.

The core works reasonably well and the gameplay loop is fun. I like the music, it suits the game well. The path AI and everything is very nice. Here are some things I would look at:

Tactile feedback when selecting one of the brushes.
A bit more explanation of the scoring system.
Allow roads to have more than two ends!

There doesn't seem to be much progression with this game, you just need to add more and more power generators. The music is nice though.

I have no idea what I was really supposed to do or why things weren't working. Isn't power supposed to come from a generator instead of going to it? It really gave me no real indication why things blew up. It seemed pretty random and inevitable regardless of the configuration.

Clean look and it works well, thumbs up for that. The menus (start and killscreen) looked kinda out of place compared to the game itself. But hey, I don't thing there is a game dev out there who enjoys doing menus etc... ;)

Congratulations on getting the Linux export correct!

doesn't seem to have a win condition.
I had a nice grid setup that was definitely overpowering my plant... everything seemed to be fine until about 1/2 my screen 'broke' all at once.

I like this game, it was pretty cool. I'd like to see some sort of goal and levels or something. Don't really know what I'm building for. The pipe building function is really cool and I can tell that you put a lot of effort into this game :) Thank you very much for playing my game.

Nice play on the concept - good overall mechanic though seems a bit random sometimes when things break as to whether there's a way to fix it

Really cool concept. I'm a huge fan of games like Factorio, so even with the limited building options I still had a lot of fun laying everything out.

It took me a while to understand whats going on... But when I got a hang of it, it wasn't so bad :)

Music really suits the game, kudos for that :)

Loved the concept. Quite innovative. Played for some time :) Would love it if you include a tutorial(obviously, after the jam.)

The sound is great, and the graphics match the gameplay. Nice work! Good going! :)

This game is fun and has a lot of potential. Yet, there are no real progression other than keeping the generator alive for as long as you can. Also, avoid creating the map with the generator at the borders, because that limits the amount of connections that are allowed
I liked the art and the sounds.

This is a game well made, my only nitpick is that sometimes you click on a space to put a power generator and nothing happens (altough it looks like it should fit)

Game is good, but like everyone else said, there is no progression. Still, it's an interesting game and I'll definitely play again if the developer will work on it after the jam :)

I had a little difficulty figuring out what was going on at first, but I got it after a while. Agreed with other commenters that there's a bit of feedback to the player missing, about things like whether a space is valid to place a power station, though you do learn the rules after a bit of trial and error. Also, I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this, but I could not get the game to quit. I tried a few things (Esc, Q, etc...) and finally had to track it down in my task manager and end the task.

I like your use of the theme and your concept. There's room to expand from this foundation, which is great. Controls for the game itself are intuitive. While there's a bit more you could convey through the graphics, what is there is presented well. Full marks for audio, as your sounds and music are both appropriate. :)

The core gameplay works well and it certainly has potential!

Once you get behind what to do it was a very interesting game.
It worked well and after a time you start thinking strategic, how to create a system with few nods to be fast removed wenn overheating is coming.
Nice entry!

Took me a bit to figure out what I was doing. Gameplay got a little monotonous. Maybe different kinds of events to disrupt your layout would help. Also, I think adding different parts to build with that have different functions would improve it quite a bit.

Great concept, but very hard. I felt if you try to build too fast to think ahead you could easily lose the game. Balance is definitely the key here. Took a long time to grasp that balance. Cool game though. Good job!

Neat! At some point I had like 3 waves of disasters in a second wipe out almost everything, I build that back, and then no disaster ever happened again... power just kept flowing, then I quit ^_^. Until then it was fun, although as soon as I had a pattern established that I wanted to build, it was just sit, wait, rebuild the same thing again, repeat. Figuring out the game and the early bits were best.

Wasn't totally clear on how to actually generate power. Sometimes the generation tooltip said I was creating 0 and sometimes 3 or 6. Not sure what I could've done differently.
