Blocko by ForeignGuyMike
Welcome to Blocko.
Shapes will come down the 3 columns on the left. Use your mouse to aim and fire at the shapes to change them. If the shape matches the ones at the bottom, you get points, otherwise, you lose health.
PLUS fire mode will increase the shapes vertex count (triangles turn in to squares, etc.) MINUS fire mode does the opposite.
Keys:
1 - Change to PLUS fire mode.
2 - Change to MINUS fire mode.
Left click - fire
Starts slow, ends fast.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
It felt like Tetris, but with a totally different mechanic. I loved it!
There was a issue nonetheless: the fact that you have to change the state to shoot makes the game unnecessary harder. Maybe a button to add and another to substract whould've done the job.
It would be nice if you would shoot with 1 and 2, instead of having to press the button + the mouse key.
The difference between too easy and too hard is a very fine line here, with it going from getting every shape to missing them all in less than a minute in my case. This is an interesting situation you've built with it, but it might be more enjoyable with a more gradual ramp up of difficulty. Maybe introducing shapes coming at different intervals at certain difficulty levels could be an interesting way of varying difficulty. For instance, on some levels, you could have pairs of shapes come down with very little between them, but give them time to catch their breath after each pair.
On the whole, you've made quite the interesting little action puzzler here!
