The art style and music are great.
I just wish holding control would delete a whole letter or the whole command for when you mess up a lot.
it would be nice if there was just a bit more variety in the commands for each file, i ended up typing the same things 3+ times in a row occasionally. i also find it a little weird that you cant enter a line when you take damage. maybe it's on purpose though. other than that, it's a super solid game. i could definitely see myself playing this to improve my typing speed, haha. nice job  i really can't get over how cute and clean this looks. it's so good.

Really nice execution, I loved the sounds and graphics. UI was very simple, although it took me a while to understand how to use the scripts, because I thought I just do "1, enter"
Also remember to keep the compo v1.0 version available (+critical bugfixes), you can have an updated version in another link, but the original must be the one people play!
Overall, this is a great entry. I'm going to wrap this up now, my fingers are tired from all this typing!
However, I think it is slightly off the topic since the theme is just in the background story. Overall it is great.
"We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested."
So, changing a design would not really fit that criteria.
However, it's always nice to keep the original around as well.
I loved it nevertheless, though.
I could get to 30% but not further. (I would have liked to see what happens when you win ^^)
The graphics are really beautiful and give a good style to the game, and the sounds go together with it, this works well.
I liked the three characters you can choose and the little friend who come helping before the files-boss, there are really great ideas to in the bonus scripts.
Really like your job on this game!
the one problem i really have with it is that it did seem kind of strange to me how quiet the whole thing was what with there only being any background music during the upgrade parts? but maybe you ran out of time to add background music to the battles or something i dunno
Lost the first time but got it the second time! The difficulty was just right in my opinion, with the upgrades and all. It gets really intense but really fun at the same time and I loved how each stage had its own theme (coding, music, school etc.). I absolutely loved the graphics and animations, both the player and enemies are really charming :) It feels like if this was the fighting mechanic of a full game with story and all it will do well! :)
I didn't get any scripts at the very last stage+boss run after the upgrade though, I was worried though I managed to beat it. Perhaps one more script would be satisfying :D Oh and the script's effects work nicely too. I wasn't sure if I can keep all of them at once, though! I tried to limit myself to having 3 maximum at one point :)
