It suffers a a lot from its UI design and how turns are made. A lot of your instructions tutorial can be summarised into something shorter. I think you could have foregone requiring the player to press a button to end their turn, clicking on a tile to move could have already counted as your turn. The lighting bar shows you how much energy you will use but not how much light it will give you which is probably more important. Giving the player a reminder to submit data when they're filling up could reduce that amount of information the player needs to keep track of. Having the data bar and the submit data box in two very different places on the screen is not very intuitive. Right-click\/hold to move the camera around could be twice as fast, though that is a small nitpick. Hovering the mouse over different tiles while telling the player how much energy it will take to move to that tile will reduce the time it takes to make a turn because the player won't have to look at various parts of the screen for common information.","likes":1,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":["ld39\/37603-29e23d2077e135b2ad10a3e30d9e13cf.png"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/03hg47eumt8730p\/LD39%20-%20Lonely%20Robot%20-%20win86.rar?dl=0","text":"Windows"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"42474","g_author":"1007535","g_event":"LD39","g_eventkey":"74","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"240244","g_title":"Lonely Robot","g_status":"USEAR3","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"1","g_site2_node_id":"37603","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"37603","n_urlkey":"240244","n_parent":"32802","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/39\/lonely-robot-1","n_slug":"lonely-robot-1","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"compo","n_author":"7535","n_created":"1501165336","n_modified":"1501452526","n_version":"109318","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":37603,"parent":32802,"superparent":9,"author":7535,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"compo","published":"2017-07-30T22:05:51Z","created":"2017-07-27T14:22:16Z","modified":"2017-07-30T22:08:46Z","version":109318,"slug":"lonely-robot-1","name":"Lonely Robot","body":"![screenshot_1.png](\/\/\/raw\/f6d\/1\/z\/5a86.png)\n\nThis is a turn-based resource management game.
