Slime Dungeon by ZachZ
With some last minute complications with the tags... I have finished my first LUDUM DARE!
The game is on the short side, but there is a nice small adventure. At the start my idea was that you were a slime that would have to squeeze through passages smaller than yourself by shedding slime, or sacrificing it. Eventually that turned into putting your slime into pits to get across.
I know that this game is not fool proof, but it's short enough that exiting and restarting will not give you too much of a setback.
My favorite part of this jam would have been figuring out how to select a custom color via player input. I was probably a lot happier than I should have been, but I was determined to get my cyan slime and it was a satisfying conclusion!
My biggest regret is how much I slept, as I think I could have finished a lot more if I shaved 4-5 hours off my slumber. Though it may be the other way around if I did take the cut haha.
I look forward to checking out what everyone else has created!
Side note: I had some troubles uploading to GitHub. I believe everything is there, but if anything is missing, I can see if I can get it uploaded, or I can dropbox the project if necessary.
Known bug: if a single horizontal direction is held going through a door, occasionally the player will become unaligned with the regular path. This doens't break the game but it will stop progress.

I think it would be great to be able to undo as many movements as possible, several times i felt i made a mistake but did not want to relaunch the game.
Realy cool gameplay mechanics, it's original and I liked it.
The concept of using slime sizes to fill gaps in the floor, but being limited by the slime size to enter through doorways makes for some interesting puzzles! This kind of duality to the size mechanic that makes it very clever, even for a small game! This mechanic also has the added benefit of making the player more conscientious of the room layout: knowing where additional slime is available is important to being able to progress in some rooms.
Small, but neatly done game! Good work!
