When your light is running out and you're getting enveloped by black wraiths, it looks like the darkness is eating you up. That looks cool, and the sound effects really add to the mood. The hard part though was finding weapons. Not sure how they're placed in the world, but it seems like it's a complete gamble whether you'll find a weapon or be killed by wraiths when you walk down a particular direction.

Like the concept nice and simple but effective. The controls are really intuative and I love how the darkness coming in makes you feel panicked to find more weapons. Really nice work well done

The black fading in really raises the stakes. Game plays well, my only complaint is how slow the player is (maybe a sprint?) but it makes sense and balances fine. Nice job!

Very good! Enjoyed the style and simplicity. Had some trouble figuring out how to ignite the second weapon, but it might just be my laptop haha. Other than that, I enjoyed it

The changing Audio might actually be one of my favorite parts of the game

Interesting system! It took me a moment to get the idea, and the spear felt very weak in comparison to the other weapons, but otherwise it was a very nice experience. I especially liked the way the shadows fill the entire screen when you lose. I think I saw a blue-glowy shadow at one point - did I imagine that or are there multiple enemy types?

The movement felt a little slow, but it really added to the feeling of fear that the game had. I ended up playing it 10 times until ending with a high score of 41 by making careful use of weapons.

@hempuli you are sort of correct, there is a chance for a normal wraith turn "elite" (it gets purpleish blue particles and moves faster). This chance gets higher as more wraiths are spawned, so it was to avoid people just completely avoiding the wraiths.

Good game, easy to understand, hard to master. Great audio and mood!

What programm did you use to make the audio?

A tip regarding your dropbox link: if you put a =1 instead of =0 on the end of the link, it goes direktly to the download.

@gilborn thanks! for the background "music" I made a few different tracks with beepbox that had a really low note, and a few drums occasionally, then I play them in a random order ingame. For the sfx, I recorded audio, cut it in audacity, then played them at a lower pitch using OpenAL. Also thanks for the dropbox tip, I will definitely do that.

This game is kinda terrifying, but in a good way. I played for a while and was about to rate it when I finally let the outro take-over-the-screen sequence happen... Great non-surface-level feature in a cool game. Well done.

Nice aesthetic - especially how you manage lights - unusual gameplay. It could be improved - maybe movements at first. Overall you did a great entry. Well done ++

I liked the idea but I had problems with movement. Faster movement would make everything more fun and fast paced.
In any case, well done!
