Failing Human by Alex Davies

Gameplay.png

Keep your human's body from giving up on them for as long as possible, but be careful, they're very good at getting into accidents!

This time round I decided to make a clicker game, where you trade blood for various stats such as strength, intelligence, and food with the organs of the body. I'm happy with how it turned out, but didn't end up fitting the theme as much as I would've liked

Programs: I used Unity (again) as a game engine, and used PyxelEdit for all of the graphics. Audacity and Bosca Ceoil came in handy for the music and sound effects.

Visual style consistent, pleasing and good to look at, however how-to text way too cramped and a bit hard to read.
Music matches the game very well.
Really like the trophies system, takes the game to a whole new level feature wise and adds more of a goal.
If you slowed the game down a notch it would get more strategical and allow for a moment to think - right now I just found myself clicking on whatever was red :)

Overall I liked the game, matches the theme fairly well in my opinion. Good job!

Gameplay is very minimalistic, the art style works. First I did not know where to click, then ended up clicking everywhere, but ended up dying anyway (at 3:30).

Oh, and the font on instructions screen is hardly readable, so i'm not sure if I understood everything!

Good job.

@mrtnldm @sebastien-bourgeois thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll make sure to get a cleaner font, or keep the layout readable next time - the help menu was a bit of an afterthought :P
