Snowfall by OfficialLahusa
You need to catch the snowflakes with the buckets. The more buckets you have the harder it gets to move.

I love when people make christmas games for the december LD. I like the idea of possible trapping yourself with the buckets. The sprites are cute as well.
## Suggestions
I found the controls somewhat infuriating. I felt like I was clicking on the shadow while holding the bucket, but nothing was happening. Given the controls, the game starts out a little too difficult. Perhaps slow down the snowflakes and make the game more about bucket placement.
The game was very fun, with some actually interesting strategy, if you want to really go for the highscore (which I always do). You naturally want to lock in your buckets near the sides of the map, and as close to each other as possible. That means you need to use as many of the snowflakes that fall to sides to lock in the buckets, so you should have at least one almost full bucket ready at all times. It is also important to exploit the bug where you see the shadow of the next snowflake for one frame after a snowflake lands, and it also is useful to know that there are always exactly two snowflakes falling, and the snowflakes that fall near the top fall sooner.
Although I did make some mistakes in my best run, I think I did alright. The game gets several new interesting aspects at around the 130 snowflake mark.

As you can see, I got a bit unlucky and had to split my path exactly in half, which led to an inevitable loss. In the end I got 192.
The theme was not really there though, as it was rather beneficial having more buckets, as they still were catching the falling snowflakes. It almost felt like an incremental game in this aspect.
The audio was alright.
