Neat little top-down-shooter! It controls quite well and the upgrades feel powerful. Actually a little too powerful for the price to pay, it would've probably been a better balance if the upgrades cost 20 of max AND current health instead of just 10 max health. Would've loved to see a bit more content, but had quite a bit of fun with this one, good job!
I like the idea of giving max hp instead of current hp what you see in most of the games in these jams (including ours). Played it two times and I also liked that exploring a little bit more gave me access to more upgrades, which was nice :D!
I really like the sound in the game, graphics are ok, does seem like a no brainer to always take the upgrades and im not sure if the game is even beatable without them. Anyway thats interesting use of the theme. Good stuff.
Cool top down shooter! I like the idea of giving maximum health for upgrades. The pools of blood stopping the bullets seemed odd. The upgrades are an obvious choice to take. Losing a little max health is a good start but maybe add another trade off? Great submission!

This is not a feature :smile: We shall fix this on the next PostJam release!
All and all thank you all for suggestions on improvement! The game was fun to develop and all of the feedback will be accounted during the further development of the game! :slight_smile:
Nice! That was pretty fun! Graphics are simple but work well and everything just feels good to play overall and has good audio/visual feedback. My only nitpick would be that the theme is kinda forced.
Seemed like a pretty straightforward shooter thing. Maybe I just didn't survive long enough, but I didn't see where the theme was implemented - the lack of instructions is a big drawback. BTW, bloodstains block the player and bullets till they vanish - I don't know if this was intentional, but it's weird. ^_^;
