Prestige is a game about collecting resources and building up your property to try to win the love of the village people in this small world! There are a number of ways to earn prestige such as donating money to the church or giving away food at the shelter.

This game is meant to be a 2 player game, but I made a very silly AI to play against if you don't have a second player.

This game was made in Java using Libgdx with some third party libraries. The gameplay was very much so inspired by board games like Settlers of Catan and Agricola.

Controls: Mouse! Hover over buildings to see what options you have.

Fun little game. Was sad to have no sound, but hey... 48 hours is only so long.

Only thing I'd suggest is - it might be nice if you made it clear which player was active when you're in 2 player mode. It's not that hard to take turns but a visual cue seems like it might still help.

Nice work creating a simple little strategy game. The graphics are effective. My first game was pretty confusing, but I soon figured it out and won my second game against the easy AI. My strategy was to create a wheat field ASAP and then spam food donation for prestige.

With some tuning and a few more features, I could see this as a "real game."

Bug report: "play again" always starts a 2 player game.

This game was very well done! I quite enjoyed it. Though it was a little confusing to get the hang of. If you put a little more time into this, it could be very enjoyable!
