Try to grow crops while being attacked by purple goo monsters. Has a few of ways to make things try to find them without looking at the code!

I feel like getting new seeds is unnecessarily difficult. once you lose your only seed, you basically can't continue because you can't get any more corn. (unless the monsters drop corn and i just got unlucky). if you made it not require corn i think it would be pretty good!
My high score was 50.
Also I couldn't figure out what the oil did. hm. The only thing I didn't try was using it on a plant.

@tacomabert It was made with love2d, I will try to get some help on the forums to compile it as doing so is really odd.

Overall the crafting is pretty cool - but in all of my initial playthroughs my seeds never grew. I figured out how to make monster seeds, oil, monster in a bottle, fire, and pebbles.
After diving in the source I realized that it was supposed to rain, but in this case it never rained for me. Since there's only 1/5 chance for it to rain, that means if it doesn't rain first thing I have to wait 250 secs counting up, then (250 counting down to -50)/2, so that's in total 6.66 min until there's another 1/5 chance for it to rain, which is probably too long.
So I just set it to true just to see the progression with the plants. I liked that the monster plants could act like a defense for the regular plants so that was pretty cool. Dropping off the corn was an interesting mechanic. I eventually got the trophy. I didn't figure out how to build the well in the screenshot though. I do like the trash system, it helps get rid of unnecessary stuff while also getting new stuff. Good job!
Rain was not meant to be relied on, but more of a random food frenzy and the only way of repairing monster seeds. But I do feel it was a bit too rare as you can beat the game without ever seeing it sometimes.

All that said, from the other comments it sounds like a pretty cool game. I hope you do a bugfix release in the future!
