In this game you control a small kingdom in a small world. However, you have no direct control over your subjects. You can merely build the proper infrastructure to help them succeed. You win when no enemies remain.

You are the red kingdom.

Click on tiles to interact. You can scroll with arrow keys or wsad, or by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen.

Farms give gold which can be used to build more infrastructure.

Barracks create lots of subjects, however, they constantly consume gold.

Tiles can be upgraded, even enemy tiles. However, a tile must be occupied to be productive. If you upgrade an enemies farm, they will get the money.

When two opposing subjects encounter each other, there is a high chance that one of them will kill the other.

A conquered tile reverts to its natural state from before it was upgraded.

Takes about 15 seconds to load on my computer, may take longer on slower internet connections/faster computers.

Tested and developed in Google Chrome, no guarantees for other browsers.

Interesting game, well done! Although I am obviously not a God of any kind. :) The gfx for the building blocks (barracks etc) could have been made better, it was difficult to know what kind they were. Was there any audio..? I couldn't hear anything. I liked the concept and had to stay and play it for a while.

This game grew on me, though I definitely had to come back to your instructions in the description a few times before it started to click. Obviously in 48 hours it would have been hard to do much about that, but if you did continue to develop the game, it might be nice to include some of the training within the game itself. Like when you have enough gold for a new unit type for the first time have it give a little explanation. Or add some visual/audio indication when you reach certain milestones.

Overall, very well done, especially given the constraints of the Compo!

Excellent little strategy game! If there was one thing I'd improve, it's that the enemy isn't very aggressive, making it nearly impossible to lose. Still, overall I liked it.
