When you die, make it very easy for the player to try again. If you put the quit button over the main button, youre saying to the player "go ahead, quit". If you put a "quick restart" button on top, the player would uncounciously keep playing for hours and hours, and that's what we developers want. Also, to increase difficutly it's usually better to put more enemies with little hp than few enemies with a lot of hp. Mechanics-wise its the same, but the player feels better cause he feels like a heroor god or something. Also, its very important to have screenshake, particles, flashes and some death animation when an enemy dies. Every time the player kills an enemy, you have to reward him with these little things that will make him feel awesome, unconciously

Would have liked to see more enemies instead of faster enemies on hard mode but decent game regardless.

Good job. It's a nice little game :) I beat it on hard. I think each refill of the generator increases the power by 15 (on hard) which makes it pretty easy.

I didn't have a lot of time at the end to test the balance on the levels. Thank you guys for your feedback!

I really enjoyed the game ! The management of our own energy and the one of the mothership is a cool idea. Too bad there is no more kind of enemies.

It works on Linux with wine.

Nice to see a game made with C++ and SFML !

Very nice game, but a bit complex at the beginning.

It's a fun game. I personally think that the music is a bit too relaxing for the gameplay.

It was pretty fun :) I did have a problem with the screen size though, it was full screen on my monitor and there was a big band of black along the bottom and right side. The UI elements all seemed to be aligned in the center of my monitor though, just not the actual game play!

I liked the idea, it was pretty fun to play, the tutorial is a bit too long.

Very nice music, helps set the space theme (as if the starry sky wasn't enough...). For creating this in 2 days using a basic graphics library in C++, I'm very impressed. The hard difficulty was not kidding. I enjoyed it on Easy mode though. It's a fun resource balancing endeavor to manage your own power whilst powering up the generator. Also the twinkling animation at the end was a nice touch. Good job

It's a good start! :)
The enemies follow you like there's no tomorrow! XD
Maybe like use different pattern and behavior for them?
It's impressing btw that you start from scratch with C++, it is very good in only 2 days!

Sweet! It took me 2 tries to figure it out, but the game is super fun.

The enemies are a little predictable. Since they approach you on the axies, you can just sit still, or shoot parallel to your movement and never miss.

Nice game. Took me a couple of tries to understand what needed to be done. I agree with the first post you should have a replay option. On my first attempt i just clicked the first box assuming it was a restart and the game shut down on me, lol. Good game though!

I didn't totally grasp the controls but I liked the concept of the game. As others have pointed out, more enemy variations or mechanics would be a nice addition

Can't run the game. I get an "The application was unable to start correctly" error.

Fun game, I liked the mechanics and gameplay, very clever, the songs is calm and it is kinda of a good contrast to the gameplay, I liked, it took me some time to figure it out somethings, but I guess it was my fault, overall it is a good work, I liked !

I actually liked how you had to juggle where to spend your batteries. It would've been extra interesting if maybe the choices became asymmetrical, like maybe if batteries were less effective on the player over time it might encourage them to use them early, but power up the base later on. Just something to force a decision on the player more.
