@sodaro: an excellent point. You need to sacrifice the birds in the middle. :)
I liked most the art style and the movements. I think that if the crows could push the player to the fire it would be a nice challenge.
The birds and the pit are really well made, otherwise the game itself is a little too simple for my taste :p
Good job nonetheless!
Hard game! Controls are tight and the graphics work well with the sfx. Could have used some indication / sound when a sacrifice was successful. Many of my sacrificial birds just ended up on the other side of the pit 😂.
All the animations and 3D models are top notch!
Good job with this!
Beyond that I think it would be nice to have a counter or some kind of score to see on game over. Overall I really enjoyed the feel of the game, good job!
I found the controls too difficult. It was too hard to hit birds, felt like I was doing it by accident. Then it was really hard to throw the birds in the pit. It gets increasingly frustrating as there appear more and more birds. I get that that was probably the idea, but it didn't feel that fun. On top of that it didn't really feel like I was working towards anything, but was rather just trying to stave off inevitable defeat. It would be nice if it felt like there was some way to win.
Good job on the visuals though :-)
@agwblack: you can beat the game if you manage to empty the Gods' wrath (right) bar completely. That, however, is no easy feat. Unless you fill your Mojo (left) bar, you'll only delay the inevitable. You'll need to not get hit by the birds and erupting stones to do that.
Also, aligning the cursor with the birds' shadows is a good way to hit them.
The difficulty of the game is intentional. I tried to compensate for the lack of real content with it, but balancing is tricky - especially in jam games - and I think it ended up a bit too challenging.
I'm actually working to release a post-jam version with refined balance and mechanics, fixes to common problems (like lack of feedback, difficulty in throwing the birds in the pit and getting swarmed eventually) and some additional content. So I really appreciate the critique and you guys telling me about the issues you are having with the game.
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.

I thought it'd be an easy task... Little did I know those damn birds would soon be flying all over the damn place, even preventing me from throwing their dead friends in the volcano!
A funny game overall, even if I thought at first the mojo bar was glitched but I was just always hit by the birds x)
Like others said, your game might need a bit more emphasis on how much we calm the Gods when we throw a bird, because I wasn't sure my sacrifices were working in the begining.
Otherwise, good audio (but the eruption sound might be a bit too loud), good graphics. Congrats!
