It probably will be frustrating experience, but we tried our best to make it at least half as enjoyabel we were picturing it. It is our first LD, all arts and music were made by me. Biggest part of code was made by @GoldenMelon.

Thought there was no difficulty at first and didn't feel like I sacrificed anything.
Then I realized once I lost vision on one of the character.
That I was screwed cause one of the other character could not move right anymore.
Got tricked and liked it!
Also liked the art style and how the "tutorial" has been integrated
_(edit: also, nice to have provided an html5 version for testing)_

The music and art are really nice and innovative. I was not able to do anything else then walking and jumping in the browser version (G did not do anything). Thats a bit sad as I really enjoyed the setting. Also a good idea to include the tutorial right into the game.

Killer mood, loved the idea of sacrificing character abilities to progress. It gave this great dynamic where, by the end, even getting across a room became a puzzle. I never considered leaving a character behind. Thank you for participating in LDJAM!

Sometimes I should read more carefully. When I couldn't move left any more I first thought I encountered a bug. But well, I finally got it and really liked it!

Cool game idea! Got stuck once tho (missed the first door with a only right walking character).
The jump is a little bit floaty tho and switching directions to fast makes me a little motion sick.

Altogether a fun little game tho :)

Really good idea, sacrificing abilities was our idea too but the execution is different. To me, the direction switch when you turn is a bit harsh, otherwise controls are good.
The mood is really nice thought.

This is the first time I've seen something like this, and it game me a real "whoa so that's how it works" moment. Amazing game!

Great game, I really enjoyed my experience. There is however an exploit where one character can get all the debuffs.

@glassar thats actually not an exploit. Its works as intended. We were planning to add more levels and sacrifices, but ran out of time and thus it feels raw and unfinished.

It's very good experience to sacrifice abilities. I found some interesting ideas thanks to your game. Good luck!

Very interesting game! I think the best part is when you realize the sacrifices you already made. Even without the sacrifice part, the team management aspect was already great and new for me.
The jumps feel very slow and floaty however.

Nice game and pleasant surprise!

Cool music and artwork.

I like the implementation of switching characters and having the camera move around the level between them, it makes you think!

Accidentally hit "R" and reset a few times! Maybe have a confirmation?

This game was pretty good! I liked the overall mood, and the art/music helped alot with that. Good gameplay, and my zombie has alot of debuffs now. Being able to pick him up along the way was *way* helpful. Well done!

First of all I want to say the game was so cool. My first idea for the theme was similar but you guys did it very well dividing the gameplay in three characters (It reminds me Lost Vikings). Love the graphics too!

Otherwise I have problems with the web version. In one side the indication texts was very small, hard to read, on the other side I can't play the music playing on Safari on my Mac (Finally I could play it on Chrome). A native Mac version could be nice to add the game to my collection :)

PS: Take a look into your Itch.io page, inside the Itch native version your page is blank :S

This is game is far deeper than it looks on first inspection! I really like the graphics and sound, very unique feel to it. Nice use of the theme.

This is a very solid game that has everything it needs despite the simplicity. Great work and great take on the theme!

Cool, rocking atmosphere, it reminds me of Lost Vikings, but instead of habilities you teamwork to surpass inabilities. Physics look a bit glitchy, specially when jumping, but this doesn't tarnish the end result. Good job!

Atmosphere and music are cool. I found the lack of abilities as the game goes by to be interesting. I think you've got the beginnings of something fun here.

Despite my initial impressions, this actually turned out to be pretty fun. I liked the weird art style and all, and I think the text and the way you guys handled sacrifice was pretty interesting!

Hey. As someone already mentioned the camera move when you switch direction is too harsh. At first I was really desoriented because of that, but I got used to it in the end. I looked at your game because of the graphics and wasn't disappointed! I like the style and especially the small animations you did. It is nice that all of the characters don't only have a different disappearance but also a specific animation to them! The riddles also work nicely. Reminded me a bit of some really old games with the used mechanisms (opening the door with the plate and stuff like that).

That is a super fun game! The idea of sacrificying is really well done. The sound and graphics are amazing! Great idea with using all the characters in order to solve puzzles.

Really loved the mechanics, at first I thought it was a simple game but it is quite complex, well done
