Energy Tanks by Saiony

After the war nothing was the same. It's always night out there, and only dust to keep us company. People started fighting each other for resources and used the remaining energy to build combat Tanks. Now, they fight for the others energy so they can stay alive. Some say they do this just to survive, but I think they just do it for the warmth of the battle. -Anna (one of the survivors)

The graphics are cool, though some times I wasn't sure if I could move on certain terrain because of the refraction-like effect on some portions of the ground.
Controls as said in the comments feel little bit weird at the beggining but you get easily used to them. Shooting to enemies is okay but seems like the bullet doesn't exactly go where you shoot..., but enough close to keep killing the other tanks and getting the energy they drop.
Aesthetics are nice, I liked them a lot. Simple but pretty. Music was fine for this game too.
NICE WORK!! I enjoyed it, and I think it's great for being developed in only 2 days.
It was hard to get used to that key movement didn't exactly match the view though.
However, this game is far from perfect. Mainly the technical and balance issues.
The first time a run the game I was not able to press(shoot) the buttons. Shots went just through. And this happened with enemies and the loot drops also.
I feel like loot drops just don't give enough power. It usually gives you the amount you used to get it. So why even bother getting it?
Enemies spawning on top of my tank without warning does not feel well too. I would recommend to not spawn the in the camera view.
Enemy tanks did not turn its "body" but I guess that was just result of not having time like most likely most of all above were.
The game has impressive low-poly graphics, and a really good music that fits well with the mood of the game.
However, I found it to be quite buggy: enemy power bars seemed distorted, I was able to drive off the map, stuff like that. Most glaring of all was that moving up a hill would make your tank never climb it back down, it would just float at whatever altitude it was. This meant that, if you ever climbed any sufficiently tall hill, you'd be unable to go back down to the ground and, as such, you'd be unable to shoot tanks or gather batteries.
The controls did confuse me for a tiny bit, but after a few seconds I understood that this was an isometric game and thus UP would be wherever up was in that game (in this case, up and to the right, it changes from game to game). The decision to lock movement to four directions was an interesting one, but definitively what lead to this confusion.
Overall, this is a game that, with more time for polish and bug-fixing, would be really really good. The graphics and music are great, and the gameplay is solid outside of the bugs I mentioned.
