In particular, I like that the mechanics are very simple, yet have a lot of depth. A few things I would like to see if you continue to update this project, is a more polished UI\/visuals and a way to cancel a crew members action when he moves into a room. What ended up happening to me is I would put a crew member into a room, with the intentions of using that room, only to notice that the room needs repairs. This felt punishing, as it forces the player to perform an unintended action with the wrong crew member. Definitely sucked me in. The graphics are simple, but I think you had enough style going on to make them still pretty fun, like the pirate ships flying around. The explanation for how to play was a little confusing, but I just played and figured it out. Got into a scenario where I couldn't pull a guy out of my engine that was on fire to repair it with my trained repair guy, so the guy in the engine room kept failing the repair check for like 6+ rounds and we never made it back to earth :( Great music too. Weirdly effective and fitting despite sounding pretty short and repetitive for a game that lasts a while. I'm loving it. It's definitely one of the LD39 games that I've spent the longest playing; the right amount of stuff is happening to hold my attention. The music is also really, really immersive - great beats. It really reminds me of a card game. Nice mix of 2D and 3D graphics too!!
