Requires sound.

I want more money is a narrative micro-rhythm game where your decisions also change the clothes you wear. Made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 40 with the theme "the more you have, the worse it is."

In case the title didn't give it away, the thing you are getting more of is money.

Really well done!

The gameplay is pretty simple, but entertaining, even though your choices don't really seem to matter at all (which is part of the game idea, I guess). The rhythm parts are fun, but don't seem to matter for the end result too. Maybe you could've done something minor with them except repeating them until the player succeeds. For example, you could have them affect how much money you get. The small pieces of music of these parts do fit well with the story.

The graphics are pretty good, and it's fun how your clothes change based on your choices. The audio, music and voice acting are really great! And I like the song at the end.

I like how you show a gravestone with your choices, but I couldn't find a way to replay the game from there. But maybe that's not really needed, you can't replay life either of course. :)

Surprisingly polished for a compo! Great narration and I love the music/ddr scenes.

I am thinking that this game has all the mechanics of a TellTale game, boiled down to the essential. Branched story with only cosmetic differences, QTE, recap of your choices at the end of the game.

I really loved the voice acting: great quality for a 48 game.

Great voice acting, and funny stuff! Nice layering of the theme into the game too. The DDR mechanics seem a little tacked on, but I guess a greedy guy must dance every now and then.
