Devil's Doll by metamorphling

Game about a simple man going on a not so simple journey to save a very important person.
(Game updated, resolution was broken and ending would not play out bugs are fixed)
My compo submission to Ludum Dare 41 "Combine 2 Incompatible Genres"
Two genres which I used in this mash up are Text Adventure and Platformer.
Oh, and it's a really hard game.
For some obscure reason I thought it might be fun, now I wonder what would you think?
Jaw dropping programmers art and programmers music included, hope you enjoy!

Great work, congrats!
You mention "programmer's art and music" in your description, but both were very fitting and functional ! The way you introduce the player to your commands is also quite creative, and had me instantly hooked.
The game is indeed tough as nails and each jump requires a good deal of preparation, which prevented me from going very far. That's a shame because I really wanted to read the rest of your story !

Never realised how hard of a word 'jump' really was to type before.
Good job! The concept was neat even though the text adventure bit was only typing 'jump' over and over again with an occasional 'right' thrown in there, everything else was completely unnecessary at least on the parts I got to.
