I like the retro menu and style and appreciated the inclusion of a tutorial, could've done with a bit more explanation however and I wasn't sure which part of the gameplay related back to the 'sacrifice' theme. Fun wee game though, a good base.

Fun game :) The difficulties are well done! :) You could have worked a little bit more on the visual aspect of the tutorial, but it's not a big deal.

The game is amazzing in the short space of time that was given, in my opinion i didn't feel as rewarded or as accomplished when i was gainaing a score. Maybe try adding upgrades and other things to make the scrifices feel more rewarding :D overall it is still amazing. would love a rating on my game to :D

@abso I'll probably add upgrades in the future. Thank you for your feedback!

Cute gfx and audio.
I would second Abso's opinion on the upgrades vs. sacrifices.

Fun game, good difficulty level progression, although the easy level I thought was a bit too easy but others might need that.

I did notice some issues with colliders blocking shots and stuff although it is possible that you meant for that I did think it made things very tough when you were carrying stuff and couldn't shoot at much above your head when there are things coming down shooting at you lol.

Overall I enjoyed it though :)

I really enjoyed the music and the graphics. Do the levels have an end state? The second and third were a bit too tough for me and the first one didn't seem to end - if there is an end then an indicator for progress would be super helpful. Props on making a variety of stages, colors and even a tutorial. Well done!

Really neat game, I really enjoyed the audio of the game, plus I'm a huge fan of the mouse cursor shooter. I love the difficulties too I was playing beginner and was like, "is this it?" and jumped into Red World and got destroyed!

The controls were simple and the game felt really polished. On some of the harder levels, it became a balance of whether to kill or to sacrifice since many enemies could fill the screen while you took the time to sacrifice them.

Neat! Perhaps, to make it harder, you should die when an enemy reaches the ground, or stays dead for too long.

Plays well. I like that there's different music for each difficulty.

Well, that ain't an easy game once you leave the green world ^^ I like the simple but effective gameplay, love the music as well (great idea to have more than one track depending on the difficutly!)

It gets hard rather quickly when you play in blue and red world! Making the jump straight from the green to the red world was quite... Surprising!

That being said, I think the game can get a bit repetitive (especially in the easiest level) as you only collect stuff without any evolution besides your score. But other than that, it's a good and well polished game. Congrats!

Music and aesthetic is on point. The tutorial was a great addition. Would have been nice if corpses became incorporeal. If you're going to let the player shoot while holding a corpse, it'd help if your bullets weren't blocked by shooting upwards. On harder difficulties it can become like a bit of a bullet hell, which doesn't mesh well with the large player hitbox, combined with the main black body of the player blending into the background making it difficult to tell if a bullet will actually hit you or not. Core gameplay concept is solid and movement and shooting feels pretty good!

Everything is pretty good about this game, except two problems.
Enemies can shoot through bodies and you can't.
Dodging the star enemy shots becomes nearly impossible when there's more than one horizontal from you. Your hitbox is huge and it's topped with a pretty low jump.

I like the music, but I know your secret! *The main menu music is only 5 seconds long and repeated!* It's not too bad tho, and I'm impressed that you made thorough music for each of the difficulties. Well done!

Like many are saying, the rewards don't feel very fruitful, and seems to go against the games name... There also seems to be an unnatural leap of difficulty between easy and medium; the star enemies kill me very quickly. I would have added the downwards shooting triangles instead of stars to medium. I also initially missed the tutorial and got quite stuck. Maybe have that go when playing for the first time? Games such as these are also often more fun with high mobility, and maybe some glides or long jumps. These could fix the difficulty problem of the stars and make the player feel more in control, making the experience feel more awesome. No huge problems found, great game!

This is amazing! I really liked all the little touches you added to the game to make it feel great (screen shake). I would have liked to see there be some type of penalty for not stopping the enemies that you don't shoot. Other than that it was a great experience and would play again
