Very nice art style and I liked the music. The game was a little easy though, as there wasn't time for the ghosts to catch up with you, but a nice concept. Just to let you know, the hit boxes on the platforms were a little buggy and I fell through the level a couple of times.

The small stuff works well: a generous hit box, a variety of simple landscapes and a limited jump. Sounds are calming and a little unnerving, too.

If you're interested, @lot9s I've found something like a bug: for a short period of time, I can still move/complete a level after I'm killed by ghost.

@marc-jones Thanks for letting me know! During development, I struggled a bit with the ground's hit boxes. If I get the time, I will try to tweak it. :)

@corc0 I have never come across that particular bug! Thank you for bringing it to my attention. That behavior is definitely not intentional. If I get the time, I will try to remove it from the game.

@lot9s No problem! If you have any trouble finding it, I only tested it in the level with one ghost. Let him catch you when you're close to the end of the level and try moving.

Disturbing, indeed :-) Cute graphics. Audio works really well (most of the disturbing feelings comes from the audio). It's short (as announced). I played it twice, which means I must have enjoyed it at least a bit ;-)

Exactly what I was hoping it would feel like! I got to 44 kills, and then I could jump up off the screen! Wheeeeee!
Hilarious and fun; perfect match to the theme.

Pretty neat game here, using some cute graphics! I enjoyed how jarring the SFX were over the light and airy strummed instrument. Pretty neat!

Quick, interesting little game. You did built a pretty interesting atmosphere with the simple music, then the sounds. Thanks for sharing.

My volume was turned down for the first half... imagine my surprise when I turned it back up. Weird juxtaposition of moods between the sound and graphics, but I liked it. Nice work

An interesting game, but there are something that I think you should give attention to.
1.If I have lots of hearts, when I die, the camera will keep moving with inertia.
2.I can go right or left, but I can only attack on the right side. If I'm in front of the little box, I have to go back. That's not particularly friendly to players.
3.The aim of this game doesn't really obvious. Before I played this game, I haven't read the reviews or anything. When I'm playing this game, I just run away so fast to get to the door. You should make some rules to show the special things of this game.
4.It may be time limited, I think you can create more elements in the upper part.

I think this kind of hits the theme pretty well, really atmospheric too for such a minimalistic experience! - Bug: You can stand on enemies and fly on them, is this intented?

@moeshan Thank you for your feedback! I was not aware of (1). I shall add it to the list of bugs to squash post-LD40. (2) and (3) were intentional, but I have now gotten feedback about not being able to attack to the right that I may just add it to the game. With respect to (4), I quite agree with you. Levels could be more interesting if they took advantage of vertical space more. However, I was trying out a lot of new things with this game, and I ran out of time while trying to eliminate collision bugs. Thanks again for the feedback! Hopefully, the polished version of the gam will be better. :)

@nodine I'm afraid that the behavior you are referring to is not intentional. Rather, it's a bug I noticed during development but never bothered to write down haha. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention!

The concept is interesting, I think it would be nice to see a game like this with permanence between the phases, so the phantoms of one phase would continue in the next. Good game.

O conceito é interessante, eu acho que seria legal ver um jogo assim com permanência entre as fases, dessa forma os fantasmas de uma fase continuariam na próximo. Bom jogo. :flag_br:

Hahaha - this is by far the weirdest game I've played for LD40. The jump controls remind me so much of Moon Patrol on Atari; until you get more hearts and can jump really high/far. I would like to see more levels with more random weird stuff happening. Good job!

Huh. I imagine you were influenced by games like Eversion?

The fact that I can jump so high (got over 70 hearts) is definitely eerie, makes me feel like I'm not quite seeing something. Cool game.

@jjjjason Actually, I had never heard of Eversion until now. Thanks for mentioning it! I will definitely check it out for inspiration on how to polish the game further.

Nice small game. Don't know if it supposed to be that slow, but other than that it is solid. Good job with art the idea!
