Very enjoyable! The driving and collision is a bit clunky, but the atmosphere is superb! I'm not quite sure what the tie-in to the theme is here. Is it that the more fog and snow, the worse it gets? :)

Very nice looking game and amusing music (needs sound effects though). The art work and mood looks great. But the timer is kinda annoying especially with the clunky controls. But great job on a really good looking game!

@Drauthius Thanks a lot! The tie-in is that your score is the amount of presents you still have on your truck when you reach the finish line, but reaching the finish line in time is harder when you have more presents on the truck because you need to be more careful to not lose them :)

Very nice looking game. Missing some car sounds. Art was done really nice. Some collisions on terrain are bit anoying. But I enjoyed driving :)

This is such a pretty control, it's a shame that some of the gameplay is messed up with goofy collision boxes and a slow reverse. Such a pretty game, solid music and I love the mechanics!

Sorry kids, there's always next Christmas. At least little Timmy gets his present.

I loved the art, it was very pretty!

This art is AMAZING! I want XMas and I need it now! I only hope Santa will drive better than me hehehe. Only thing to say is that UI is not really visible..

This game was really adorable. It saddens me that all of those children won't get their gifts this year. Hopefully some homeless person will have a nice christmas. :P

I would reduce the volume on start for the music because i almost blew out my ear drums and woke up my child. Haha.

Well done bud!

Great art and very fun to play! :) I had trouble loading the levels, I clicked in every single level and then they started loading one after another. Anyway, I think the concept is great, and it was funny to see all those presents flying away in every curve!

glad to see fellow jammers that use 3D as well. Enjoyed the game a lot just wished the camera was a bit above the car since the car mostly obstructed my view but great entry non the less!

Very nice art and styling, that's true. Music is although adorable. But controls in this game are pretty unpleasant. I got stuck once, often unable to turn, and if there is an angle between you and a bridge - you are fucked.
Although, I think the theme is kinda misused. Isn't it better to have more in this game, not worse?

Overall, nice little game with adorable graphics and holiday spirit!

@tutaratuta Thanks! Well, it's good to have more presents on your truck because that's your score but you also have to drive more carefully to not lose them when you have more of them :)

Lovely game! A very beautiful and atomspheric game and the truck controls really well for a Ludum dare game. But the DOF effect is a bit over the top and the camera controls a bit to limmited.

The atmosphere and mood is super! Great art and good take on the theme.

Would be nice with more control over the camera, like being to zoom in and out. Maybe a top down camera?

Very nice entry ! Seems impossible to finish the run without loosing any presents, but at the end it's more fun to drive fast and see presents fall everywhere :p
Good job !

Hey folks, reeaalllly nice work here!
I just love the low poly art style.
Its damn great executed and colors are very well chosen.
The atmosphere is really wonderful and the audio fits the mood perfectly! The gameplay
itself is very entertaining so I played it over and over again.
Sadly my highscore is 1

Overall awesome job!

The art was really nice, it set up the mood. Now for the gameplay:

- while interesting, vehicle controller doesn't feel correct, the engine is just way too underpowered, as you could get stuck (e.g. not having enough torque to move up the hill), based on the vehicle model (looking like truck into hard terrain - old Tatra V3S or Kamaz) - I expected to have enough torque to accelerate up into hill - while the truck actually doesn't have torque to move up
- colliders, they way were too overshot; I got stuck few times due to hitting a collider of lamp (while not hitting the lamp), and due to low engine torque the only option was to restart level (as you're unable to gain the speed again)
- presents jump way too much, they seem to have almost no weight ... although I assume that is intentional for the gameplay

I did enjoy it, yet the first two were kind of frustrating (restarting level over and over few times just because of hitting the collider).

Anyways, as for this being a jam game - it is well polished and feel quite complete. I really liked the entry! Keep up the good work!

This game looks nice. The music is nice. The theme suits the season. It could use sound effects.
I really like how you used lights to direct the player along the path.
Very nice overall.

One thing though: Since the first time i got to choose "retry" or "next" the mouse wasn't captured anymore.

One question: How did the game files get so big?

Very nice feel to the game, really got into it right away. Controls were a bit wobbly, but that was part of the game I guess. :D At times the poor truck didnt have enough power to climb the hills, if it got stuck a bit.

All in all a fun ride (although I failed miserably)

Fun game! I love that you made it Christmas-themed. The music was really nice and the game looked beautiful. I think the relation to the theme is a bit of a stretch though. Overall very good though!

@potti Thanks a lot! Sadly we didn't have the time to add sound effects. I'm the artist so I'm afraid I can't tell you why the mouse wasn't captured after getting to choose "retry" or "next".

We are actually wondering why our files got so big too. Our assets are just a few MBs, but I guess it's the levels with all the objects placed that is causing such large game files. For 3D objects we only have one texture, so that can't be it. We also have a sheet for the snow particles and a few for UI elements but nothing that large.

I think this might be one of the most clever interpretations of the theme that I've seen to date. Really really, but it was annoying that I had to close the game and reopen it every time I wanted to try out a new track.
