Nice! Managed to get 5324, the one little thing i faced was that i jumped when reaching a platform although i wasn't pressing space

thanks for the protip! I had a lot of fun trying to navigate my way up, especially with the little double jump on the platforms. I was greatly affected by the dwindling light supply, particularly towards the end of my energy! The sense of urgency caused me to falll alll the waaay baack dowwn. Sweet game

The platforming is really precise and the collision detection is perfect. The limited visibility is neat, it forced me to do some exploration. @colozz Do you generate the levels or are they hand made?

I suck at it, but it's nice and well made, I might've liked more resolution options but considering it's your own engine I can understadn why not. Well done!

Good graphics and good gameplay, I loved the detail that your visibility goes down the lower your power is.
I found it a little bit too difficult/short; sound effects and music would make this game even better.

Cool game! I am looking forward to what other things you can make with that engine :)

Really cool game, your game engine works really well. The controls were great. I also loved the art style the game had. I also really liked how your character glowed. I tried for about an hour to get that effect in my game but couldn't figure it out, so good on you for getting that done!

Very good, lacking a sound, and would give a great game to the mobile platform, with touch would be great fun.

Really nice. It would probably work really well on mobile (as it was designed for portrait).

One issue I had is that the window was too tall for my screen, luckily I have dual monitors though so it was half on one monitor and half on another.

With a bit of music and SFX, I think this would be perfect.

Congrats!

Well done! I love the graphics and the easy yet fun gameplay!
I don't get why he is like bouncing on the floor instead of jumping... If I hold spacebar I see him jumping like a ball. XD
Nice use of the theme btw, good job! :)

This plays very smoothly, and the lighting effects are great. On my first run through, I didn't find any lamps and died quickly. On my second run through, I was so pleased to find several lamps in a row that I fell off a platform and lost a lot of progress. It's a shame that there's no music, but overall this was a good, solid effort.

There are few batteries, it makes the game hard x). The graphics are nice but I think the game lacks of sounds.

It's so cool that you've made your own engine ^^. I love the graphics in this game.

Yay! Simple concept, simple game, but a challenge to get a good score. All good elements. I agree with it benefiting from sound. Also, not sure if the platforms are procedurally generated, and if they are, I would suggest some kind of rule where they don't get created at the same x axis as the previous one to prevent them being lined up, because its near impossible to jump around the platform directly above you!

The level is generated by hand, platform on the same x-axis was wanted ;)
