So I just downloaded it again and it worked fine for me. What kind of computer are you using?
Do you mean the light on the title screen? Also, did it say why it crashed?

Replaying does seem to fix the problem though, great game! It was a lot of fun.
I'm going to fix this right now! :D
Thanks for giving it another shot!:D

Seems like a fun idea, would like to try again if you can fix it.
Anything that involves me drawing on the screen = instant love! :P
But you have truly chalked out something beautiful and I can't thank you enough for developing this gem of a game. Loved the visual style(do you think you will incorporate music?)!
And the game itself is something new. Always love new ideas and new games!
Congratulations and good luck with your game. I faced a crash after 2 levels(rooms) - maybe because I scribbled on the whole game window? :P
Yeah, I actually have a lot of ideas for this game. Going out to a park, a more diverse street segment, eventually up into the sky to take out The Big Light 0.0 I might keep it going, and if I do, there's definitely going to be music and soundeffects and all that!:D
I talked with my brother about the aesthetics, he said I should have taken photos of the objects then run a filter on em, so it'd be a similar line-style, but like super-realistic contour drawings instead.
I ended up going with this because I like it more (and let's be real, I only had 3 days!);)
In a final version, the Light-Eater will show up (and kill you) if you miss a light as the screen scrolls.
Same page about the stylus! I just wanted to reach more people. Thanks for playing!

I got the crash like many others, but trying again and only clicking (not dragging) got me through the intro screen. It was smooth after that.
This time I pin-pointed the actual problem and wrote a little line that shouuuld fix this (I hope for real this time!XD) I tried really hard to make this crash happen on the new version and couldn't get it.
Anyone who has played and happens to see this post, if you have a second ^^' I'd appreciate you trying to replicate your crash on the "NEW CRASH FIX" version.
Thanks everyone for your feedback! I got locked in my playstyle and overlooked a HUGE glitch, so thanks for helping me find it. I'm taking this lesson with me;)
I'll tell my girlfriend you liked the pacing, she's the reason I slowed it down. Here I am scribbling like mad and waiting for it to progress, but in the time it took me to finish the house, she's still scribbling the second light xD I ended up taking a liking to the slowdown too.
Overall it's a great game. Well done!
No bug, yes! Let's hope it sticks, I put good thought into that solution, so if it breaks, I'm not gonna know what to do haha
The scribbling mechanics...A magician never reveals his tricks x)
I didn't prioritize sound since it's a jam and I'd end up just taking stock music from someplace, but you (and everyone else that's said it) are right, it really does need sound for the whole thing to come together.
Thanks for playing!
It's not a drawing but rubbing game!
if there are more feature like others said(threat), there will be more fun.
However, I still have fun in the current version because of your creative idea!
Here is a little question, the name of your game is Light-Eater, why don't just let the player control a rubber or some kind of monster? The first message I get from controlling a pen is that I need to draw something!
( OK I saw that it's black pen haha but I still think something like rubber or monster may more match with the name "Eater")
I knew I took a chance with the way to start the game, but I think it's cool to discover it:)

Either that or you could have been really mean and put in a jump scare at the end >=)
Graphic is very fitting.
I hope that you continue development on this. It has that special something that can make it great mobile app.
@sondrian That was actually in my plan for gameplay until I ran out of time. I've already put that idea into the version I'm releasing after the voting is over! I don't know about inventing a new kind of game ^^' but thanks for saying so! (I do think it's an uncommon game)
@bveeramani You willll see more of this "Light-Eater" if you stumble upon my game in the future :D
@elizabeth-thomas Thanks! The constraints are what make the fun of Ludum Dare! I'm happy to hear I could make something cool in that time:)
@phlip45 Haha, actually considered splashing the jump-scare in there, but didn't want to put anything half-baked in during the final day xD
@kabalatrance I am steadily continuing development on this:) I'm going to release an update after voting is done, and a 'final' release some time after that. Mobile does seem like a natural fit for this game, I might go for it if I'm happy enough with my code!
@fran-segura Thanks for noticing! I put all my initial effort into choosing a different point of view for the theme:)
